Great Boos Up Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 I'm quite content (actually deliriously happy) with that bottom three at the moment: 18: Norwich 19: Sunderland 20: Aston Villa Please may it remain the same forever and ever and......I'll stop at Div2.
Spudulike Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Totally Moose those scenes at the end of a game where you've drew with fkn WBA at home not won the fkn league....embarrassing and a joke! That was really odd. Some weird shit up there.
CosbehFox Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Klopp is just adopting what is done in Germany after every game. Win, lose or draw. Home or away. The players are expected to show appreciate for the fans support.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Just seen Klopp's celebration. Why? WHY? Lucky to even get a point, that's as embarrassing as invading the pitch when you score against Bournemouth
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Very clearly a red, that was an abominable challenge Well the person that was late to the ball was Lovern. Had he not challenged for a ball that was no longer there?
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Must win Monday. Chelsea fans could say that about their relegation battle - given they're playing a side expected to be down there. A real 6 pointer for them!
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Jurgen Kock He'll do alright for a season or two (6-7 place finishes) then he'll have a meltdown like they all do at Liverpool. Then he'll leave them in the exact same state as under Rodgers but will still get called the Rockstar manager, the Messiah and all that other bullshit that tries to mask that he is a buffoon. Same with LVG versus Moyes. LVG is a tactical genius, the football brain, the second coming. Even though he is doing just as badly as Moyes did only worse as he has squandered hundreds of millions of pounds to build his squad and have them playing the club's worst football in years
ScouseFox Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Klopp is just adopting what is done in Germany after every game. Win, lose or draw. Home or away. The players are expected to show appreciate for the fans support. liverpool ain't in germany tho. his motd interview was ridiculous too, as was his refusal to shake hands. bloke's come across as a right dick today.
Stadt Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Maybe start doing the conga or whatever when you beat someone at home but you don't half look melty when you scrape a draw against West Brom
deep blue Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Well the person that was late to the ball was Lovern. Had he not challenged for a ball that was no longer there?Dead right, but not not spotted by the commentators or ref (surprise, surprise). In fact, Liverpool should have had 3 men sent off for wickedly reckless sliding tackles with studs up - Lovren's was the third.Klopp's antics at the end of the game might have been a good move in other circumstances, but in the context of a lucky draw at home to West Brom they were embarrassing and ill-judged. Also, his post match comments were mardy. It's OK for fans to moan about Pulis' negative tactics because they pay to be entertained, but the opposing manager should act professionally - buckle down to the job of countering their tactics and their set-piece play.

Would be thrilled if Newcastle could swap with Norwich (they're overdue for relegation and I detest MacLaren) ...although if they can keep beating teams challenging for the top 6 I'll let them off this year
ealingfox Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 First indication we've had of how Klopp can be an absolute prat sometimes. Embarrassed himself yesterday.
Carl the Llama Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 I'm genuinely concerned about Man Utd. For all their impotence and listlessness in the league so far they're sat fairly comfortably in 4th place with 29 points, only a couple of wins from the top. Hopefully this is because their current crop of players are already playing to their full potential, but Imagine their points turnover if they start playing well.
Ric Flair Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Spurs, Liverpool and Everton again showing that against dross they struggle to play their own game and take all the points. That's where we have been so ruthless this season.
Loggy88 Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 That's the most satisfying thing about the season so far is we are beating the teams we know we can realistically beat.
Fox92 Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 First indication we've had of how Klopp can be an absolute prat sometimes. Embarrassed himself yesterday. How so? He wasn't celebrating a draw, he was thanking the fans for attending.
Finnegan Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 See that's why it makes me laugh when people keep saying we've not played the big boys yet. Points are points. It doesn't matter if Man City beat a "big" club if they lose to a shit one. Spurs just lost at home to a ****ing Newcastle side we hammered. If Man City beat us, what does it matter if they lose to two crap teams we beat? We could win the league without ever beating the "top four" if they keep throwing points away.
Countryfox Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Reading about Mahrez in the Telegraph this morning after a weekend of other articles is giving me a nose bleed .... whats happening ??? The our very own FT Len Finsbury gets a mention in the Mercury ... something about sharing a shower with another bloke .. ?!?!? Is there something you want to tell us Len ?? The worlds gone mad.

They say the league table never mnds the truth because it shows form over a number of games and the season. If you look at the table today we have played something like eight of the top eleven sides so this we haven't played anybody yet is total nonsense. Pundits and media like ramming that down everyones throats about little old Leicester. When their beloved teams like Spurs lose to Newcastle, Liverpool lose against Newcastle draw at home to a poor West Brom, Arsenal fail to beat Norwich away, Manure reserves lose to Bournemouth they conveniantly forget we haven't played anyone yet bollox. You can only beat what's in front of you. Arsenal aside we have done that this season. But no little old Leicester can't win the league or fininsh in the top four can they?
ealingfox Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 How so? He wasn't celebrating a draw, he was thanking the fans for attending. He was needlessly aggressive on the touchline, made a point of gooning in front of the Albion bench when they equalised and then waved away handshakes from everyone at the end, apart from the West Brom assistant who forced him to, making Klopp look a bit of a mug in the process. All this before celebrating in front of the Kop like they'd won the league. Don't give a stuff if he was actually 'thanking fans for attending' because thats not what it looked like. Most people aren't going to have thought that's what was happening.
Ric Flair Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 The thing is if we beat Chelsea tonight and then beat Everton, Liverpool and Man City we'll read that we're lucky to play them when they're going through a bad patch. Truth is, the majority of teams in the PL are dog shit right now. We have a system that goes against the majority and that's why we seem to be more effective. Let's hope we can continue this before the bigger clubs figure out why they have been left behind.

I really don't mind if media and fans alike play us down as contenders, because that's only going to help keep the pressure off our team.
