Lesta2014 Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 Linked in the mirror as potential target at bottom of ake link. On phone so can't paste link
Happy Fox Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 Leicester are poised to make a loan move for Chelsea youngster Nathan Ake. The Foxes are on the lookout for a new holding midfielder after Esteban Cambiasso announced he would not be returning to the club. Cambiasso played a key role in the club's survival last term and his decision to reject a new one-year deal leaves Leicester short of options in the middle of the park. The likes of Danny Drinkwater and Andy King struggled to make the step up to the Premier League last term and boss Claudio Ranieri admits the club must now move to replace Cambiasso. While Ake has made just a handful of appearances at Stamford Bridge, he would bring some undoubted quality to Leicester's midfield, with the club keen on a season-long loan deal. It is thought the Foxes will also move for a more senior option, with Tottenham's Mousa Dembele a potential target.
MPH Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 Glad to see they watched kingy in the run in Its not like escaping relegation is all down to Andy King though, is it?
Max Power Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 Dembele would be great. Ake really makes sense as a loan as he can fill numerous positions.
lgfualol Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 I'd take Dembele now. Though the only thing is, Levy paid £15m and might mess us about to sign him.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 Its not like escaping relegation is all down to Andy King though, is it? It's not like Andy King was awful all year and failed to make the step up as the article says, either, is it.
Ricey Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 Never going to happen. Spurs are already short on central midfielders.
TJB-fox Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 Would be an ideal signing for us, sort of player that would take us to the 'next level'
chicagofox Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 Its not like escaping relegation is all down to Andy King though, is it? It wasn't all down to any one person.
psychonaut Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 Unfair to say King failed to make the step up - Drinkwater clearly did but not our Kingy. Started and finished the season strongly and didnt get too much game time in between. When we were sh1t the entire team was sh1t. EDIT: It's the mirror so load of old b0llox anyway.
Fox 4 Life Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 This would be a great signing but as people have said, anytime it is the Sun or Mirror I try not to get too excited!
surrifox Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 Tottenham will definitely dick us about they can't help themselves
Danizen Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 I would absolutely LOVE Dembele. I can't see it happening though.
Richmondfox Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 Levy will want top whack for him, pay the asking price as he is a quality player who will improve our team no end.
Royston. Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 cant see dembele wanting to come here and ake is gonna have to be amazing to justify replacing Cambiasso with a fúckin loan! moan moan moan
thybluefox Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 I'd be getting excited about this if it wasn't just a throwaway comment at the bottom of an already unreliable article from an unreliable news source.
