Stevosevic Posted 25 November 2015 Posted 25 November 2015 I would snap AC Milan's hand off if they offered us Honda for Inler in January. Matty James coming back will cover Inler's absence and we'll get a proper attacking midfielder who is comfortable playing anywhere behind the number 9. Now you're talking. An Eriksen type behind Vardy would be brilliant for us.
Guest Posted 25 November 2015 Posted 25 November 2015 He wont be going anywhere until James is fully fit as otherwise we would be left very short if Kante or Drinky got an injury. Is James even going to be fully fit by the end of Jan? Don't worry. We have King.
Guest Posted 25 November 2015 Posted 25 November 2015 Not exactly showing much stomach to fight for his place if he wants out already. Seems a sh1thouse to me. Get rid.

maddog Posted 25 November 2015 Posted 25 November 2015 I don't want him to miss out on the Euros or anything because he can't get in our team. I would definitely support him on a loan move (as long as the loan club pays most of his wage).
goose2010 Posted 25 November 2015 Posted 25 November 2015 Not exactly showing much stomach to fight for his place if he wants out already. Seems a sh1thouse to me. Get rid. or maybe he has been told that he wont get game time here and actually wants to be playing regularly?
thybluefox Posted 25 November 2015 Posted 25 November 2015 Mercury have reported that despite what his agent says he won't push for a move.
Clever Fox Posted 25 November 2015 Posted 25 November 2015 Who'd want to leave a team top of the league. But I still think he will go.
foxile5 Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 Who'd want to leave a team top of the league. But I still think he will go. An odd signing if so, he was set up to be the marquee. I wonder if there is an issue of fitness, pace and nous with regards the English game. Then again, is the 'English game' a thing. By rights he ought fit in, by performance he doesn't. Had a good 30 minutes in the cup against Bury, mind.
davieG Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 Claudio Ranieri has denied claims that Gokhan Inler is trying to force his way out of Leicester City. The midfielder only moved to the King Power Stadium in the summer, arriving from Napoli for a deal which could eventually cost £5m. However, last week the Switzerland international's agent, Dino Lamberti, claimed his client was ready to leave Leicester after struggling for action. But Ranieri claims this is not the case and that Inler understands it is difficult to change a winning team. "He [inler] is happy," said Ranieri. "The player who plays, is happy of course. I don't want players who are happy being on the bench or in the stands. That's crazy. "But he understands the team goes very well and I can't change it. Yes, I am the Tinkerman but I'm not stupid." Foxymcoxy Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 Dunno why we have to slate and write off anybody who can't get in to the first 11 of the best team in the league so far. He's out the team at the moment and rightly so but we haven't seen anywhere near enough of him to say he's shit or a flop or anything else.
Wymsey Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 Think this is the media trying to make a mountain out of a molehill, trying to disrupt the way it's currently going. I thought someone reputable from here said that he's buying some farm on here not long ago.

AyewJoking Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 I reckon he's planning to buy the alpaca farm in Loughborough, seems like the sort of thing he'd do needs to do something with his spare time seeing as he kante get into the team
Spudulike Posted 29 November 2015 Posted 29 November 2015 Man Utd slowed the game to almost walking pace during periods of the second half. That might've been the game that Inler would've slotted in comfortably.
Mickyblueeyes Posted 29 November 2015 Posted 29 November 2015 He will come good - it's a long season. His knowledge and ability to crack teams down will come in handy in the second half of the season. When sides do well they get more respect meaning more teams will sit back against us to try to nullify the Vardy/Mahreaz threat. Enter Inler to unlock defences in such games.
bovril Posted 29 November 2015 Posted 29 November 2015 Even last season's Cambiasso would struggle to get in our first XI at the moment, so it's a bit premature to write off Inler just yet.
Foxymcoxy Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Anyone see anything they liked? Thought he did a decent job for the short time he was on, steadied us a wee bit. Still a few bizarrely wayward moments though. Is he in the frame to start if DD is injured?
ImBlue Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Won a decent header, quite an important one. Everyone was misplacing passes but did himself no harm whatsoever.
americanfox Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Won a decent header, quite an important one. Everyone was misplacing passes but did himself no harm whatsoever. Aside from that one bizarre moment early on when he hoofed the ball forward and out of bounds, he had a good performance. Very pleased for him.
Nod.E Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Was made for him to come on and steady the ship. Any news on Drinky's hammy?
FoxCal Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Anyone see anything they liked? Thought he did a decent job for the short time he was on, steadied us a wee bit. Still a few bizarrely wayward moments though. Is he in the frame to start if DD is injured? Only him and King can be. I'd like to see more of Inler, but King had a good game. Went missing for periods as he always seems to, but he did no wrong. So if it was up to me, I'd start King.
ScouseFox Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Aside from that one bizarre moment early on when he hoofed the ball forward and out of bounds, he had a good performance. Very pleased for him. hahaha i remember thinking oh holy shit what have we done here when he did that. think he was once again shocked by the pace and franticness (word?) of the game but quickly readjusted and all was ok.
Jimmy Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 he was calm and assured last night, just what we needed, if he gets a place in the team I could see him keeping it for a long time
ALC Fox Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 I was absolutely thrilled for him that he got on the pitch and we managed to hang on and win the game. It was a sensible substitution and another tactical win for Ranieri. It took the sting out of the game and we started to become more of a presence in the middle again just when Chelsea were threatening a comeback. With the games we have coming up, I can see Inler coming on from the bench to have a similar effect as he did last night. Being on the pitch and winning the game will do his confidence the world of good too and I'd like to see him stick it out and fight for his place instead of leaving next month. We're going to need our squad in the coming weeks, that's for sure. Right now though, I'd start King. But I can see Inler forcing his way in if his performances catch the eye.
