Yup here's the quote in full

I'll be the first to claim that I was wrong if we sign him and he turns out to be our key signing of the summer.

Still waiting on this...

I had £20 on Drinkwater to make the England Euros squad at 33/1 a while back...

Can't see it happening I'm afraid. We've two more friendlies against serious opposition before the warm up games and Woy will no doubt be going into them with his ideal side for June

If Jesse Lingard and Ryan Mason and Fabian Delph can get England call Ups with little football played, its shambolic that Drinkwater shouldn't at least get a mention, playing very well in a CM partnership that is currently top of the PL.

Its a shame Roys season ticket is at White Hart Lane watching Kane and Alli all the time.

Unfortunately, he wont get a look in,

as much as he deserves it, even to try in the friendlies.

The England Squad needs a shake up, and I'm not bias being a Leicester Fan.

Creswell and Noble at West Ham are having an excellent Season

Shawcross for Stoke

there are players who aint at the big "top 4" clubs who are on form.

For me the sooner Roy goes, the better, we need a manager to get away from some England players walking into the team no mater how bad they are performing.

We cant carry anyone.

That one from Drinky to Vardy yesterday though...Oh my! Cambiasso was brilliant but I don't think we need to continually compare our current players to him. Don't forget Drinkwater also brings things that Cambiasso couldn't in terms of youth and energy. Cambiasso was one of the games greats and we were lucky to have him, even late in his career,  but we are lucky to have Drinkwater now coming into his prime.

Hes done that on more occasions, and successfully.

Col knickers are in a perennial twisting motion where Cambi is involved. Imagine thinking Lee Cattermole is better than him my days what a moment

Haha agreed.

Sky Sports 'investigating' Drinkys tackle on Ramsey yesterday. Apparently FA going to review it?

Granted it wasn't a good tackle, if there is a suspension for it though it will be a joke!

If they are investigating the game I hope they take the time to check out Ramsey's embarrassing roll and ref appeal

Leicester City are said to be confident that Danny Drinkwater will not face further action from the FA after being told by Martin Atkinson that he saw the challenge on Aaron Ramsey and did not deem it worthy of any action.

The tackle, which was as clear a red card as you are likely to see, was not even given as a free kick and it seems that even though Drinkwater apologised to Ramsey afterwards, Atkinson has a completely different understanding of the laws of the game and what is deemed dangerous on the field of play

There can be no question that there are fundamental problems with the way referees are allowed to slink away from any responsibility for poor performances.

In this case, either Atkinson is so incompetent that he saw that tackle and decided there was nothing wrong with it, that he is a danger to players on the pitch (remember the Gary Cahill ‘tackle’ on Alexis Sanchez that he deemed was only a yellow when it was also a clear red last season? see video below to be reminded) or the FA’s processes are so flawed as to be not fit for purpose.

Only seen it a couple of times, it didn't look good granted. But from what I remember Ramsey was coming across Drinkwater as he went to kick the ball, which I think it mitigating.  It's not like they were going in straight at each other as say flamini did last week.

Drinkwater was high but the more annoying thing is Ramsey rolled over before getting up and chasing the referee. It must be hard for him having suffered a horrific injury before but any other player and the FA probably wouldn't look into it.

No injury happened, Drinkwater apologized which I imagine Ramsey accepted if he posted on social media about it, so move on. Drinkwater isn't the type of player to do this sort of thing every week.

Where's that quote from?

Danny won the ball, but it was a wild tackle and he should know better, the fact he got to the ball first means it shouldn't have been punished with anything more than a yellow.

Anyone got a video of it as I don't remember seeing it.

Well according to this article then there were at least two challenges from Arsenal players that should be investigated as well. The one on Shinji from behind after he had played the ball was much worse. At least Drinky actually got the ball before he caught the man.
