It's fairly obvious but no one has mentioned it yet (bar about 68 threads). This is the first time EVER, that Leicester City have won the FA Cup.

Yes since the PL was formed,  but Wolves have won all four divisions and both cup competitions.

Leicester's victory in the FA Cup broke a run of 15 consecutive major domestic trophies won by the big 5 clubs.

(Man City: 3 x league, 1 x FA Cup, 4 x League Cup. Chelsea: 1 x league, 1 x FA Cup. Liverpool: 1 x league. Man Utd: 1 x FA Cup, 1 x League Cup. Arsenal: 2 x FA Cup).

 

In fact, it was the first major honour to go outside of that select group since Leicester themselves won the Premier league in 2016. (which in itself broke a run of 7 trophies won by those 5 clubs).

For us as a club of course it is - but there’s certainly a bigger run of wins from one of the bigger sides. For instance Arsenal won it back to back 2014 & 2015.

Didn't Blackburn win 3 on the bounce back in the 1800s. Not sure how many games they played back then.

I meant a club record,  arsenal have won in consecutively twice since 2000.

 

 I don’t think it’s our longest unbeaten sequence as we have previously got to the final with multiple replays

It was a great night against Wednesday, did a lap of honour with the Coca Cola Cup at Full Time.
