ScouseFox Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 so fvcking frustrating. all our best moments second half came from him running down the line. why only do it like 3 times? every time as have the ball he should be on the left wing down the line running to the bye line. but no he spends half his time on the pitch at centre half. fabulous.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 He lacks so much in a footballing brain is unreal. Either runs aimlessly or just hit and hopes it into the box. Frustrating player
Clever Fox Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 So much potential and yet so often fails to deliver. Despite several good runs tonight he never once tried to pick out anyone. The one really good Ball he put in close to the goal line he put it behind Ulloa when across the goal line would most likely brought a goal.
Les-TA-Jon Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 I will probably get a load of stick for this but... For me Schlupp just gets the ball, puts his head down and runs as fast as he can in a straight line. Sure, he's fast and he stretches the defence, but what's the use id he just blasts it into a defender, runs it out or doesn't attempt to pick someone out?

sdb Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Thought he was excellent again tonight. Think he'll start Saturday.
lgfualol Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Would have preferred Albrighton staying on. Schlupp didn't seem to know what was going on today. Thought he was excellent again tonight. Think he'll start Saturday. Who would he replace?
Bert Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Would have preferred Albrighton staying on. Schlupp didn't seem to know what was going on today. Who would he replace? Albrighton Hopefully.
lgfualol Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Albrighton Hopefully. Really? I thought Albrighton was our brightest player today.
Carl the Llama Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Albrighton Hopefully. I wonder if we could get away with Albrighton on the right, Schlupp on the left and Mahrez down the middle in the Shinji role? I wouldn't want to drop either Albrighton or Mahrez.
fuchsntf Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 Schlupp would of scored tonight, if it wasnt for a lucky deflection...
Guest MattP Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 Are people actually being serious here? He came on and pretty much ended every attack we had when he got the ball, the only thing good was when a wayward shot nearly deflected in.
foxes21 Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 He's bad on the wing. Doesn't use his pace enough and no footballing brain. At the start of the season he was acceptable at LB, helping create from deep. But he cant defend at LB, so he is bad there aswell. Ffs
volpeazzurro Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 Really? I thought Albrighton was our brightest player today. Agreed! If you want a player to accurately cross a ball then his name is Albrighton from the right wing. OK put Geoff on the left if you wish and even Mahrez in behind the striker, but if you want the ball into the box to Vardy, Ulloa or whoever, Albrighton is your man from the right.
Guest MattP Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 I was amazed Albrighton was taken off, we seemed to create a chance or go close every time we got the ball at one point.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 I thought Jeff looked useful today. Much better at retaining possession than previously and has started to pick passes much better. He even seems capable of using his weaker right foot now. Compared to gray, who came on and just pumped endless non threatening crosses into the box jeff should be the one coming one, he gives us options and a cutting edge running behind that works well against teams playing deep
adam Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 Thought he looked OK. A lot better than gray who looks completely out of his depth.
Harry - LCFC Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 Don't think any of our wingers are playing at their absolute best but between them they created enough chances for us to score from.
les-tah Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 if you take albrighton and fuchs off it is kind of pointless bringing ulloa on!
filbertway Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 Thought Jeff actually resembled a footballer at times tonight, made some intelligent passes and runs which got him or Gray in behind about 4 or 5 times. Pretty impressed with him to be honest.
M0901 Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 Loved his nutmeg near the end Good player, but yes, quite frustrating. Would be near world class quality if he had a brain, I rate him that highly in that regard
ScouseFox Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 I was amazed Albrighton was taken off, we seemed to create a chance or go close every time we got the ball at one point. albrighton came off because there was literally no point putting crosses into the box because all their defenders were on average a foot taller than all our strikers. we needed to get to the bye line and whip low crosses or cut back across goal. Jeff did the first thing alright it's just his end product was woeful. gray was rubbish but he was clearly terrified. didn't help that his first contribution was someone over hit a cross field pass too him and it bounced over his head and half the ground started booing him. was never gonna be up to much after that.
