kyleolly Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 We're not going to win every game we were extremely unlucky tonight I'd be more concerned if we'd played like we did on Saturday and dropped points play like that for the remainder of the season and we will win the league!
HighPeakFox Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Nothing against WBA, they put up a good fight. We cannot win every game, and I refuse to single any player out. Pulis may be 'negative' often, but he deserves great credit for speaking so lucidly in favour of our chances.
Legend_in_blue Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Frustrating? Yes. Unlucky? Yes. Far from disastrous though. The bigger picture is 4 points from two games. Keep that up for the rest of the season and we will be pretty much up there. I'd settle for that.
ScouseFox Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Are you serious.? Mid table mediocrity? 28 games and lcfc are deservedly top of the league. But what about the previous 100 years of tripe? I do sincerely hope leicester win the PL but don't forget your station? we can't change the past though. our owners could easily have employed pulis and as a 21 year old we could easily have been looking to finish 16th every year until I either give up on football, kill myself or die of natural causes. but we didn't. we want to win games. we want to achieve something. maybe not achieve but at least f ucking do something. enjoy 41 points again this year. and next. and the one after. enjoy yous 0-0s. your 6 centre backs and your fu cking cvnt of a manager in his cvnt of a cap.
shen Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Only saying Kasper was our weakest player tonight and had the most individual errors. Some of these errors are consistent in his game and a weakness, but I still believe he is a good keeper and saves us more times than he costs us. He could have done more to avoid both goals tonight in my opinion though and I don't think anyone can deny he was poor tonight. Great freekick, few keepers would get to that, but it's never been his best quality anyway. Seems like the Burnley goal last season is still so deeply rooted in the minds of some that he will get the blame every time we concede a direct free kick. Maybe he could've stayed on the line for Rondon's goal, but he got a touch on it and it could have gone anywhere really. Hardly worth criticising. Had little else to do and did alright with his distribution today I thought.
Richard Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 No! No No No No No No No! How in the blue hell can Spurs getting three points tomorrow night be a good thing? Jesus Christ, some people. Spurs dropping points tomorrow is the only good result in that game for us. We didn't not win tonight because of the pressure of being top - that had sod all to do with it. The harebrained notions of some people how "this defeat might be a good thing" or "this team going ahead of us suits us" is complete and utter nonsensical bullshit. bloody hell don't hold back fella Obviously I'd rather us win, just looking for a positive

I do sincerely hope leicester win the PL but don't forget your station? Don't even try it- most managers come out with some bull about how they'll come and give it a go. Tony even said in his pre match presser that your team will "do what they do".In a league branded the best in the world, over the two seasons we've been back in it, we've been accredited with being entertaining. WBA are a skid mark. Everyone knows it.
fox_favourite Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Nobody in a blue shirt (or purple/pink) disgraced themselves tonight. I've never been a Simpson fan, but I hold my hands up and say he was brilliant tonight. We've shown we can break teams down, it was just wasn't out day, and Foster kept them in the game. A point is good and now the pressure is on Spurs. Let's see how they handle it.
EnderbyFox Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Hope Roy was watching that tonight, Drinkwater is a class above
Aroberts123 Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Cant see why Kasper is getting so much criticism? Free kick was top quality and the first goal was Huths error, Kasper probably did everything he could IMO. Also, we are forgetting how good he's been the last 10 games.Shinji, on the other hand, runs all day but couldnt score in a 5$ brothel. Vardy struggles with defences sitting so deep, as evident tonight and against Norwich. He needs space to run into. Mahrez thinking too much of the headlines and is obviously looking to up his chances of Barca or Real coming in for him... He played well, but his bicycle kick took the shine off- alot. Morgan and Drinky fantastic, who knew Wes Morgan could be such a quality Prem centre half- he's like a samsung fridge freezer running up the pitch.Need a result saturday now, Watford isnt an easy place to go!
Manwell Pablo Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 looks like west brom are the new arsenal on here . Find it hard to slate them myself if you play negative, not that I thought they did esp compared to Norwich who many "felt sorry for" mainly because we ended up beating them, and still manage to score two goals then can't say fairer than that. Embarrassing really we fell the need to take dropping points out on the opposition, one sad thing about this season as I've said before is some of our support have really developed top four arrogance. I thought we were brilliant, could easily of won but that's football, play like that I doubt every other side will be able to combine good defending luck and a sublime free kick to take points off us, on to the next one.
CollinsLCFC Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Ulloa needs to start ahead of Okazaki, simple as that. What game was you watching? He was great
Len Finsbury Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Either I watched a different game to some of you or my expectations are a lot lower. I thought we played excellent tonight, against a team that would happily have sacrificed any kind of attack for a clean sheet. Okazaki came off too early for me. His movement and pressing was up there with some of his best performances. I thought it strange that he took both Okazaki and Albrighton off at the same time. It would be more effective to have Albrighton crossing fro Ulloa or Schlupp dragging it back for Okazaki. Despite conceding two goals, the back four looked sound. Morgan was outstanding in the last half an hour, and really unlucky not to score. Unfamiliar to see Huth bullied off the ball for their first though. Their second was quality though, you can't complain about conceding a free kick like that. The crowd were awesome again after getting a little criticism at the weekend. Hearing them encourage the players after conceding was something else.
Lcfcwatto Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Some of the negative comments on here are ridiculous. People faulting Kasper and Mahrez, if thats you, give your head a wobble
biggs Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 So Vardy escapes criticism then? Two fantastic chances. What about Mahrez and his decision making? We were unlucky tonight, even with the supposed inferior quality of our strikers, one of those chances would have gone in on another average night. This......and what a load of crap from some on here today. This team has performed well all season as we did tonight but some supporters can only find fault. We have some great players but none are world class. We work as a team and play as a team and yes we miss chances. Once in a while some individual play come in but that's not the case for the majority of our play. Maybe another striker would get it done, maybe not, but for me, we still have the team to win the title and screw all those on here that continue to find fault. No one out there quit and right down to the last second we gave it everything.
Shamomoa Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Ulloa needs to start ahead of Okazaki, simple as that. Okazaki was everywhere tonight. Thought he did well! Wouldn't swap it for Watford.
Albert Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Thought we controlled it and were by far the better side. Free kick was very similar to Burnleys last season. When a keeper doesn't even dive for it you've got to question his positioning. Similar to Norwich, Vards was far too isolated. Okazaki needs to play closer to him and stop dropping too deep/wide. Yes he works hard and has some good touches but it's never in dangerous positions and he never really looks like scoring when he's in the box. His header that hit the bar was a sitter! I'd be tempted to start Schlupp on the wing and play Mahrez off Vards on sat
Leicesterpool Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Much improved performance compared to the display on Saturday. Unfortunately unlike saturday we didn't take all three points today, that game was going begging the chances we had in the second half was unbelievable. I have to say I was surprised to see Albrighton go off I thought he was having a good game to that point. Hate to be negative but I feel this result may come back to haunt us.
Meltonfossefox Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Don't even try it- most managers come out with some bull about how they'll come and give it a go. goose2010 Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 I was impressed with west brom Rondon was a real handful and gave Wes a run for his money although I thought Wes as incredible, proper leader and just didnt stop, so unlucky not to score to was a great save to be honest. Look if Spurs win the next 10 games in a row I wouldn't begrudge them the title! There are a lot of twists and turns to go, we played well and like most of said we didn't deserve to win Saturday but did tonight! Bring on Watford I'm not bothered about the games tomorrow what will be will be.
SecretPro Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Imagine paying to watch West Brom every week. I've seen better entertainment in my toilet bowl.
Livid Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Played well just didn't go for us, exactly the opposite to Saturday. 4 points from one good and one below par performance. I can't complain.
