Bunyip Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 To all of you on the "Fighting Cock". Suck mine! Post of the year !
Vlad the Fox Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 Eat dirty Maryland with a few when they beat us in the cup. They thought we were the best organised team in the league and that we would win it. TFC just seems full of tits though. I remember after the cup defeat we were sat feeling sorry for ourselves in a train station bar somewhere in London when a group came in, joined us, commiserated with us, then we all got wasted together singing each other's songs. In a pause between our songs there suddenly started another song in the far end of the bar, we all looked round and there was two Exeter fans joining in.That asides, it does seem that TFC attracts the tossers and it's been hugely entertaining reading their rants but everywhere else, radio, tv, other Spurs forums none of that has been going on, were most have expressed how great we've been, though it was typical of them to be outdone by a complete outsider, spursy, is that right, . It's been a great title race, looking back now it's done and I don't have to spend every minute of every day worrying about everything that can go wrong I'd say we've done it reasonably comfortably, but spurs were doing enough to keep us looking over our shoulder but could never get close enough to put real pressure on us. But it's been great, two unexpected teams slugging it out at the top, if west ham could get into the top four it would be remarkable. And those that say it's been a poor because the established order didn't step up, I'd say it was because the mid table mafia grew some balls and went toe to toe with them rather than surrendering meekly. This season has probably been the strongest in depth premier league season for a number of years and it caught them out. However, I think the match Monday night is an example of why we were the better team and won the league. Against west ham, with a ref destroying the game we went 2-1 down with about four minutes to play, that crowd were going ballistic, yet our players got the ball down pushed them back and went for the equaliser which we got through Ulloa's pen with the last kick of the fame, a point which proved vital this week. On the other hand, the last 13 minutes of the game Monday night spurs spent kicking lumps out of Chelsea instead of looking for that goal that could have pushed things onto today. You need a number of skills to win a league, and we've produced them all this season, from exciting flair football to a tighter game and shutting out opposition, we've shown all the abilities I've seen in champions of past this mental toughness to come through adversity with success and handle pressure. We've had the full set this season and have been brilliant, thoroughly deserving of champions, champions, champions. Have a great day people it's going to be fantastic and memorable today.
ARCHER Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Post of the year ! Cheers mate, my finest work appreciated
simFox Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 They wilted in the sun against the saints today, rumour is they're knocking WHL down to build a bottle factory
yorkie1999 Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Which makes the euros a bit worrying. Remember kane in the U21 championship and he completely bottled it.
ARCHER Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 So they never even got close in the end... We're coming for you? Good Grief!
foxes_rule1978 Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 First it was Arsenal over celebrating when they beat us, thinking they had the league title wrapped up. And now it was Spurs with their over the top coming for you rubbish, only for them to bottle it completely this is brilliant
murphy Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Gotta revise my opinion of Spurs fans a little having read there other forums like shelf side spurs. Just the cry baby pond life that stinks out The Fighting Cock that I despise. Nice that they can't get closer than within 7 points of us now.
weller54 Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Andros Townsend double to beat them next week.. The perfect end to the season!
separator Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Spurs fan on 606 now saying the Premier league & Sky wanted Leicester to win because they had us playing before them over the last month.
foxy boxing Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 So funny listening to bitter and upset spurs fans in the radio blaming everyone else for their title loss they can't accept they've had a great season and be gracious in defeat
Buce Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 All that 'we're coming for you' shit. They didn't even put up a fight. Bottlers.
ARM1968 Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 As I said before their match against Chelsea. Couldn't see them winning any of their last three games. Total bottle job. Our destruction of the Swans and point at UTD destroyed them. Very real chance now they will finish turd.
Oxshottfox Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Wow, just had a butchers at their forum, they are in complete meltdown abusing each other. One season wonder, they are done now
Foxhateram Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Spurs join Arsenal in the 'bottled it' league. They really have been moaning so and so's in the last few weeks and don't get me started on the fixtures argument. Playing after us works both ways, if we had lost they would have known exactly what was required, if we win then they know they need to raise the bar. A good manager would have used that as inspiration!
Bunyip Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Cheers mate, my finest work appreciated Well they were " cumming " for us ? Cocks indeed.

Thracian Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 i remember Bill Nicholson's push-and-run team of the 60's - poetry in motion at times and a cracking advert for football. The current lot would soil their jockstraps. Performance problem...? Kick, stamp on or eye-gouge anything that moves in the knowledge that the ref will be twice as blind as Nelson. Whinge and whine like the bastard sons of the appropriately named Arse - 'n- all while refusing to have the good grace to acknowledge that the best team won The Premiership by a distance. Hell, in motor racing terms we lapped the not-so-Hotspurs. Apart from the footballing artistry and entirely deserved celebrations of our beloved team I'm left with two abiding images of this season... a) The referee donating an FA Cup draw to Spurs (at Leicester's expense) on the basis of an incident he clearly couldn't see and was never a deliberate handball in any case. And, b) the miracle of the entire Spurs team remaining on the pitch against Chelsea courtesy of a referee and assistants who collectively chose to "see no evil" or do nothing about it at the time, whichever proved most prudent. If the same standards are applied next season it could be the first season ever without a single player dismissed.
ThaiFox Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Spurs fan on 606 now saying the Premier league & Sky wanted Leicester to win because they had us playing before them over the last month. It could be that totters had the advantage because they knew what to do, or it put the pressure on us because we knew they were playing the next day. You can read these things both ways. Poncy has obviously installed a lot of sour grapes with his 'other teams wanted Leicester' comments! I heard some spuds twat on talk sport the day after their WBA draw saying if they played Leicester today they'd win easily. So pleased when the presenter told him the two results this season!
