Jace Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 Lost a lot of respect for several Spurs fans this season, heres a few quotes from a few who have been hounding me on Facebook
stripeyfox Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 Looking back now, I don't think there even was a Tottenham "title challenge". They were never close. They were just the least shit of the other clubs.
Jace Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 Didn't Pochettino say he couldn't work out how Spurs were not top? Home losses to Newcastle, Southampton and Leicester probably didn't help
Vlad the Fox Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 Lost a lot of respect for several Spurs fans this season, heres a few quotes from a few who have been hounding me on Facebook He's right, Heading south, hey! Wemberleee wemberleee wemberleee, we're the famous Leicester City and we're going to Wembley.
maynefox Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 Makes me laugh every time I see this. So happy we won the league and they did not. Arsenal fans owe us big time (they too are just as bad!). Never mounted any sort of title challenge and we were the worthy winners and played the better football throughout.
Jace Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 The Spurs were top for 13 mins reference always annoys me because technically they were never top, you can't be top on points that you haven't actually won, yes they were potentially top as it stood part way through the match but if you don't go on to win those points then they never counted in the first place
adam Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 Have Tottenham actually had a good season though? They managed 64 points last year, And according to the so called experts this season is the weakest in history. Looks to me that they haven't got any better .This was their one big chance to win the league and they blew it .
Bunyip Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 The Spurs were top for 13 mins reference always annoys me because technically they were never top, you can't be top on points that you haven't actually won, yes they were potentially top as it stood part way through the match but if you don't go on to win those points then they never counted in the first place True but don't spoil it it's a brilliant p*ss take .
FrankieADZ Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 Lost a lot of respect for several Spurs fans this season, heres a few quotes from a few who have been hounding me on Facebook I think the Spurs fan should be more worried about losing there players tbh, with them building a new Stadium and that, plus we all know what Levy is like, he sold the best players year after year, still cant get my head around the way the spurs fans go almost silent after they let a goal in, no sign of getting behind the team to try, must be a north london thing
urban.spaceman Posted 10 May 2016 Posted 10 May 2016 Beautiful. An hilarious reminder of how close Spurs actually were to winning the title - not even remotely! I'm baffled as to why they ever thought they were going to win it!

murphy Posted 10 May 2016 Posted 10 May 2016 http://www.thefightingcock.co.uk/forum/ If you have take a trip to TFC don't stay too long. I had to have a hot shower with bleach and a pan scourer after looking at that.

Bazly Posted 10 May 2016 Posted 10 May 2016 I was very disappointed with the attitude of Spurs fans, well the ones that attend their so called supporters forums. Just about every sentence has cvunt mentioned. Players are cvunts, referees are cvunts, Arsenal are cvunts and Chelsea, well they are chavs and cvunts. All the other London teams and Manchester United have their own little pet names. They got embroiled in it was all a conspiracy, refs were not giving 10 penalties against Huth each game and opposition team that had played so well against Spurs were just rolling over for Leicester City. The funniest parts were the permutations with 5 games left, if Leicester lose three, we can give them 2 draws and Spurs win all their games guess who is Champions. Like that was going to happen. Even when the Spurs players had lost their heads, brains were nowhere to be seen but that's another story and were hacking every blade of grass at Chelsea there were Spurs fans on their forums hoping for broken legs. If you looked over other team forums, particularly with the Everton and Liverpool ones they all concentrate on their own team and manager and recognise when other players and teams happen to play quite well. This tends to lead into potential transfer targets which is a lot more useful than just calling them cvunts. Spurs fans online seem to lack any decorum, I expect many would have hated the Bocelli introduction rather preferring a bit of boyzone.
Culletonfox Posted 10 May 2016 Posted 10 May 2016 one of the best quotes i heard an Arsenal fan call a Spurs fan was Salty Melts!

Lionheart10 Posted 10 May 2016 Posted 10 May 2016 It was a case of Men v Boys, the Men of LCFC kept their bottle and the Boys of THFC lost theirs simple.(the fact we won more games than them probably helped as well).
reynard Posted 10 May 2016 Posted 10 May 2016 It was a case of Men v Boys, the Men of LCFC kept their bottle and the Boys of THFC lost theirs simple.(the fact we won more games than them probably helped as well). Come on we all know it is really about possession. Nothing else matters!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 10 May 2016 Posted 10 May 2016 Spurs fans won't be pestering us any more this season. They must be crying in their beer.
john ridley Posted 10 May 2016 Posted 10 May 2016 We are 10 points clear - you do the maths. That's right the nobody's 10 points clear.
Gerard Posted 10 May 2016 Posted 10 May 2016 Will we still be Champions when the FA award points for possession and passing stats at the end of the season?
biggs Posted 10 May 2016 Posted 10 May 2016 It's a daft forum and they take the piss out of everyone including themselves. A number of our fans thought Spurs were the better team entering the run in of 5 games........worried they'd run the table and we would lose this and that or possibly manage a draw. Why? Wasn't from our results. The 'fighting cock' had a few fans on edge here, arguably more so than had we not read their posts. Probably accomplished a little of what they were trying to do.....besides being natural bellends but to goad a few into fearing them and passing that fear on like a virus. That one forum is an amusing read......they never fail in giving the reader a 'wtf was that all about'.
Great Boos Up Posted 10 May 2016 Posted 10 May 2016 Beautiful. An hilarious reminder of how close Spurs actually were to winning the title - not even remotely! I'm baffled as to why they ever thought they were going to win it! I'm baffled as to why Kane is running with one of those plastic thingies that hold together a 4 pack ?
