man united had to resort to kicking it up to fellaini and ibrahimovic, for pretty much the entire second half.

160 million spent this summer for that?

if they're going to play pogba so deep, they may aswell have got scholes out of retirement or signed pirlo. atleast they'd be able to dictate the play lol

Pogba certainly doesn't seem to be thriving in that team... 89 mill and you aren't even using him to the best of his ability, they clearly overpaid anyway

I don't usually detest other clubs. Seems kind of immature.

But I really really don't like Arsenal. In fact, I do detest them. They are lucky, scummy cheats. Can't stand them, Wenger or their wank fans.

I see Jose is moaning about the ref (and Mark Hughes)

Can tell Stoke and Man U lost then..got Man U next week so not doubt they'll get a decision or two.

The Arsenal fans were actually gutted they won I suspect.

Mind you they probably weren't attacking each other like the West Ham fans did!

Quite a weird atmosphere at West Ham's new stadium.

Perhaps they're  (players and fans) are a bit unsettled and trying to get used to the hype of playing in a building that is being funded mostly by the tax payers.

Not related to your post, but great win for your lads today, showed a lot of character from 2 down and by the sounds of it played some lovely stuff in the process.

Think Mark Hughes might be the first manager shown the door this season.

The old addage of Stoke being a "tough place to go" has long gone. It went ever since Stoke got rid of their big, ugly players and replaced them with more technical, easy on the eye players.

Only problem is, whereas before a Stoke team would be resolute and dogged, these lot regularly take 3 and 4 goal hammerings and seem to be very questionnable mentally.

For the turnaround of players theyve had, theyve not advanced much from the Pulis days...lets not forget for all the criticism and humour directed at Pulis he took them to Wembley and had them playing in Europe....with these ugly hoofer players.

Add into the equation a manager who is a terrible example in repeatedly being sent from the stands and moaning his way through every defeat interview, i cant see him as particularly inspirational.

Hughes on thin ice i would say.

Shame Channel 4 or 5 can't do PL game replays, like with the other leagues.

It starts later tonight at 10:50, though glad there's Iplayers to watch the catch-up.

People are getting tired of Hughes' weekly moaning already, when you mention one incident in 4-1 and 4-0 defeats as being absolutely vital the excuses wear thin as it seems you can't cope if something goes against you.

Just watching Watford highlights on MOTD and they looked determined and galvanised today - something completely missing from our performance. We literally looked like we didn't give a ****.

Spurs looked class. Son's finish for his second goal was superb.

TBH always have thought he was a quality player who got buried on their bench. He seems to just *do* things when given the opportunity. Some players have that something.

There's something rather dislikeable about Bournemouth.

The media turn a blind eye to all the investment and claim they've been run on a shoe string when its been far from the case for years. Also, Eddie Howe has a streak of cvntishness about him, thank fvck he didnt get the England job.

Unfortunately they'll survive but hope they get relegated for the plankton team that they are.

They have their money as their ground is cheap, a bit of 4 b 2 and some plastic sheeting from b and q, done.

They should be told to invest in the ground, as due to the league 2 standard ground, the allocation for travelling supporters is laughable for the top division in English football.

Yeah, the Premier League should get on their back about their stadium. At least two years of TV money plus inevitable parachute payments mean they should be able to spring for a 20000 capacity stadium.

Payet's 2nd assist for West Ham. Beautiful.

Fair play Watford though. Could have easily buckled.

They were everything we weren't. Determination and wanting to win. We didn't show that yesterday.

Spot on. They aren't a better team than us. But they had far more will to win the game.
