It's a shame because the lad clearly wants to come here and the fans on here seem to want him, me included. It's OK though, we will just play Liam Moore in CM instead.

Yeah gone totally cold - shame as he looked like the kind of player that would fit our style. I've just got this feeling that we're not going to sign anyone else - and that's not being paranoid just a gut feeling.

Wouldn't be against giving moore a run out in these friendlies to see if he can perform in midfield against top opposition, might as well see how he fares first then buying just for the sake of it. I understand though that people may be concerned.

Liam Moore as a Kante replacement With Champions League football this season I don't think a player that hasn't featured at all in the last two seasons can all of a sudden make that kind of a step up. I don't think we should even be contemplating it.

No thankyou, we need to use these games to prepare for the season and we have many central midfielders who need game time. It would be rare for a very mediocre player to suddenly become a superstar in a new position so why bother right now, we don't need to.

It was more a response aimed at making sure no one else went for it lol. The transfer forum has descended into jokes and puns the last few days, thought I'd bring this one back down to earth with a fact I'd love us to sign him but it ain't gonna be any time soon if we do! At at least he can rough Spurs up a bit in the meantime...
Sydney Fox Posted 20 July 2016 Posted 20 July 2016 Not sure why there's doom and gloom because it's gone a bit quiet - as has been said, he's currently on tour with the Juve squad. I seriously doubt anything happens with any club before he's back. As for the Betis links, the only way they beat us is with a loan move - if that's what Juve is after than he's probably not what we're looking for anyway.
