foxinsox Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 That was embarassing and a hell of a wakeup call. Musa is looking good, but Hernandez should not play CB.
Danno Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Awful really. Low on confidence and struggled against the likes of David fvcking Meyler ffs. Pre season travelling around getting absolutely bummed by the likes of PSG and Barcelona can't have helped much.
GaelicFox Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 On a positive note , I'll be able to collect more points from away games now !
RowlattsFox Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Shit. If We manage to score the first goal I think we win but we looked tired and unfit.

Webbo Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 It's no good having the fastest front 2 in the league when teams defend deep and pack midfield, Okazaki livened things up when he came on. It's essential we keep players like him and Ulloa.
Guest WarehamFox Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 We looked half ready, passing and shooting awful. MOM gotta be Curtis Davis. On to Arsenal!
GeorgeTheFox Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 I said this wouldn't be easy. The fans and team were way too complacent today. Need a dynamic midfielder to partner Drinky. Im sorry to say that King just wasn't up to it today. Once again we are better with Okazaki on the pitch
adam Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Complete shambles. Was probably on the cards after our summer of sight seeing. Too many players think there better than they are. Mahrez especially. Looks like we have got carried away on the 100K a week contracts too .
Guest Col city fan Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Shocking across the whole pitch. Wasn't even a penalty. Conceding too many goals. Said pre game, King is not good enough to start. Not that he was worse than anyone else. A loss is a loss, it's the nature of how we played that's more concerning. Kante really was exceptional.
HankMarvin Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 So annoyed that was so bad central midfield non existent king crap not good enough amartery pants looks to slow on the ball vardy didn't seem to want to press like last year kaspar got a fat gut morgan looked like he had regressed to his form in our first year. hernadez crap mahrez kept giving the ball away looked way off the pace drinkwater pinged one pass in 90mins
The Guvnor Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Where do you start after that , poor all round the park, Shinji livened things up a bit but we were so shite I did wonder if it was Leicester I was watching. I just hope losing Kante hasnt ripped the heart out of our team.
Aus Fox Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Also can we stop mentioning ****ing Kante he's gone, not out suspended or injured gone. we also missed Walsh and Elliott at the back and Lineker up front but get over it.
Socks Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Piss poor considering we are Champions, but its only one game, lets not make a habit of it CR needs to change it next game - I would like ot see the 2nd half team against Barca
NewEnglandFox Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Embarrassing. I'll take 5 changes at least for next week.
MC Prussian Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 The Great Escape and last season never happened. We've only just woken up to a new season of football. A few positives today - Gray in parts, Musa was very good (just could do with a bit more finishing intent), I liked Simpson going forward and Drinkwater did as good as he could influencing our attacking game. The rest, however, need to realize that we're the reigning champions and that this is the Premier League. Too many players at least a yard off their usual pace. King was mostly anonymous today, Morgan seemed so slow and unaware and didn't link up well with Hernandez, who also put the foot wrong on numerous occasions. Schmeichel? Oh dear... Today, you've shown what not to do after a recent five-year contract extension.
Brainy Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Musa was good with the ball today but needs to be more selfish. Mike Dean was just awful but not the reason we lost today. Possibly the only reason we managed to score today infact. Very poor
richardsfoxes Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Let's hope we improve else we're really going to struggle this year, we need something in midfield just no inventiveness at all.
pazzerfox Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Andy King is not good enough to start regularly in the Premier League. He was anonymous today. Hernandez needs to learn the physicality of the Premier League. Saying that, Vardy missed 2 golden opportunity's in the first half. Disappointing start..
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Better side won. Hull were everything we should have been and we're not. Hungry, street wise and aggressive. One game doesn't define a season but coupled with pre season it doesn't take a genius to work out we need a central attacking minded midfielder. We were too lateral with nearly every pass from Drinkwater and especially King going wide. That suited Hull who were happy to force us out there and needed no help. Too many key players off the the pace today but the lack of desire was the disappointing aspect for me. Time for the champions to show why we are. but well done Hull.
