Anyone calling Hernandez doesn't realise just how good Huth is, he is one half of Wes Morgan as well.

We looked better when Amartey and Shinji came on.  Even Mahrez looked livelier and more of a threat.

i thought Musa was a real threat.

Vardy and Hernandez will want to forget that game and Gray didn't live up to the very high hope we all had for him.

We move on...

Also can we stop mentioning ****ing Kante he's gone, not out suspended or injured gone.

we also missed Walsh and Elliott at the back and Lineker up front but get over it.

Posts like that are not constructive its a forum our first league game without Kante and its a fcuking disaster so it is surely reasonable to discuss reasons why, if you dont like forums dont read the posts.

We need a midfielder who can drive forward with the ball and change the tempo like Kante did, we lacked creativity today especially second half

Cant make any sweeping assumptions about the season based on today but in isolation that was absolutely atrocious.

No heart but worst of all no competence in even the most basic of tasks.

Mahrez, Vardy and Schmeichel were all horrific. Vardy in particular barely made a run worthy of the name and casually wasted 3 great chances that were put on a plate for him by others.

Hopefully this turned out to be the wake-up call we needed to get our stuff together, rather than a sign of things to come :-/  As I've said since the Community shield, we've looked far too undercooked - still, it doesn't look like we'll be playing in the ICC again? :P

Do they practise pass an move in training or is it be safe pass to Kasper who hoofs it up the pitch and we lose possesion copy paste repeat.

Hull did win the championship last season. Remember when we thought it was disrespectful to us when people wrote us off?

The worse thing is all the tw'ts will be saying I told you so and certs for relegation now.

Disgusting performance.  Disgraceful result.  An absolute shambolic Hull City side were better than us in every single department today.

I said before the game started that staying up is a bonus considering the joy we got from last season but that was a humiliation.

If King is seriously our first choice for CM then the owners need to spend some serious cash to sort that out.  There's no excuse not to do that as our current net spend has been roughly £0 this summer.

If we play that against Arsenal then I fear for us in that game I really do.

Just shut up with your bashing of King. He had a decent game today. Made some important challenges and was close to playing some smashing through balls, even though Hull had 11 men behind the ball. Leave it out!

Personally I believe 2 things that let us down today. A lack of creativity (which I don't think anyone we have will solve that, meaning a signing for that?)

and our defence (which will hopefully be solved when Huth returns)

Also think it reaffirms my belief that we need to replace Simpson.

Let's be fair as well, Hull weren't shocking eit her, defended well and showed the resolute nature we showed last year.

Not a good performance. I don't think 442 will work as well if we don't have a powerhouse in there winning balls and driving forward. I don't think King is that type of player unfortunately. Mendy should probably get the nod next week and see where we go from there. I'm not too worried about Vardy as he got in the positions to score but did fluff his chances. To put it into perspective though, this is the first league game against a not top 6 side that we've lost since February 2015 when we lost 0-1 at home to Palace.

Not good enough, Morgan without Huth is a liability, think we now know who does all the organising at the back.

Gray awful, King the wrong choice and a shit preseason.

Fuxk the fancy shit get back to basics.

I actually thought Gray was one of our best players today

can we get a ratings thread up while the hate is still fresh in my mind?

We're going to need to go back to rating everyone, not just MOTM.

The same way Man City won the Premier League? Finishing 4th?

Not saying we are going down , but on today's performance that just isn't good enough.

I've been disappointed at the lack of new signings - other than Musa who looks to be promising but obviously is still unproven - and was very sceptical when Ranieri said we don't need any more players!! And it's pretty embarrassing that we've been linked to this player and that player yet it's all come to nothing! King was full of spirit and endeavour for Wales at the Euros, but he clearly showed he wasn't elite level. Why he started I don't know..

The Kante issue needs to be resolved asap. Yes, there's nobody quite like him, but surely we can strike some kind of middle ground with somebody, somewhere??
