RowlattsFox Posted 24 August 2016 Posted 24 August 2016 Swansea were perfect opposition for us last season, they think they're Barcelona so they pass it around but in reality they're a bit shit so they make mistakes and we can capitalise. Hopefully be more of the same.
Ted Maul Posted 24 August 2016 Posted 24 August 2016 I'd be tempted to play Ulloa for this. He just seems to be on it whenever we play these at home. A bit like Nuge used to be with Ipswich, you know he's going to score.
Spudulike Posted 24 August 2016 Posted 24 August 2016 Quote Just don't get into a conversation with the Swansea fans else you'll be washing phlegm out of your hair for a fortnight.
brucey Posted 24 August 2016 Posted 24 August 2016 Apparently that chap Borja they got from Atletico won't be playing due to injury. Lucky, as could be quite dangerous.
Wymsey Posted 24 August 2016 Posted 24 August 2016 Borja put for 3 weeks apparently. Can see them being down in the basement scrap this season imo.

Socks Posted 24 August 2016 Posted 24 August 2016 Need to go all guns blazing and win this, got a very busy season ahead and we be winning our home games Musa and Vardy upfront and we will score more than them but they look quite dangerous
Guest Col city fan Posted 24 August 2016 Posted 24 August 2016 We better not lose this one. Arses will really be twitching if we do. But I don't think we will. 3-1 to City.
Russell sprout Posted 24 August 2016 Posted 24 August 2016 Not lost at home to Swansea since 1950, 14 home games later hopefully we can continue the hoodoo
tsintskaro Posted 25 August 2016 Posted 25 August 2016 No Kapustka maybe this means he'll play against Swansea
Harry96 Posted 25 August 2016 Posted 25 August 2016 Would've thought kaspustka will definitely make the squad
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 25 August 2016 Posted 25 August 2016 Yep, Kapustka isn't in today's U23 squad, nor his Amartey. Looking like they both might feature in the squad for Saturday.

Better to play to our system and what we know.

Hope so need to start giving our younger players chances otherwise prospects might be put off coming to us if they see that we give them little chance to prove themselves. Would like to see Chilwell and Amartey at least against Swansea, I know Fuchs has played well but Chilwell looks capable of playing against the teams towards the bottom at least.
st albans fox Posted 25 August 2016 Posted 25 August 2016 I see illustrations of the pre hull attitude. We aren't citeh or yanited or Chelsea etc. We have to play our way with our intensity for the time being to get the show back on the road.

Drinky Musa Shinji Vardy That's the team I would pick. We have depth now so we should pick players to suit the opposition. Against Arsenal, Albrighton was the right choice because of his defensive capabilities. Against Swansea, you would hope the tactic is to attack them and take the game to them. Hence, a start for Musa. Musa shouldn't start up-front because we are such a weaker team without the industry of Okazaki. Andy King is an important member of the squad but we never get the best out of him when playing him in the middle of a flat midfield. With Mendy injured I think it is time to give Amartey a run in a position that he played in for his previous club. After last week, the back-five picks itself.
AjcW Posted 25 August 2016 Posted 25 August 2016 Inler also not in U21's but is training with first team on OS photos. Potentially a bench appearance before leaving.
TheLittleBigMan Posted 25 August 2016 Posted 25 August 2016 Neil Taylor's out for Swansea, think they'll wobble at the back against or vards. 3-1 titty
Larry_LCFC Posted 26 August 2016 Posted 26 August 2016 Any ideas what numbers swansea were allocated / are bringing tomorrow?
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 August 2016 Posted 26 August 2016 Away in Yarmouth for Bank Holiday so gonna miss the game completely, really need to win and get the season started.
AjcW Posted 26 August 2016 Posted 26 August 2016 Sorry if i've been asleep and missed this one but... the club just tagged Ray Clemence in the latest photos of our training. He working for us?
