Sharpe's Fox Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Football should be like boxing. Then we'd be champions of England and Belgium.
The Doctor Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Fantastic. Not convinced by Hernandez - caught out by the winger time and time again, better side would have punished him. Otherwise they were all excellent.
Webbo Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Couldn't have gone much better, mind you, we probably won't play a worse side than that this season. You'd think the worse we could finish in this group is 3rd. Albrighton MOTM for me goal + a lot of hard work in defence and attack. Apart from a free kick and penalty Mahrez didn't really do a lot but I hope that gives his confidence a boost.
SecretPro Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Spurs and Real Madrid lose at home. Great day.
Spiritwalker Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Very professional job carried out superbly.
Benji Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Apparently we're going to embarrass the Premier League in this competition.
urban.spaceman Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Stunning performance. 8+ for everyone. Never been prouder. I'm off to change my trousers.
Ric Flair Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 They were one of the dirtiest and worst teams I have seen since some of the horse muck we played in League One. They were diabolical and that's a massive confidence booster for us after Saturday. Albrighton was everywhere, Amartey was a boss. Hernandez caused absolute bedlam with his throws and Slimani is going to be so important to us. He's physical, aggressive but very mobile. Great to see Mahrez break the free kick hoodoo and get a penalty after his recent miss. All in all a perfect night pretty much. It feels good this does.
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 You can only beat the team in front of you and whilst Brugge were undeniably shite, 3-0 away from home is a great start. Lots of positives for us despite some frailties. Hopefully we can continue in this mode in the CL and it will boost domestic performances too. Albrighton mom for me but some excellent hard working games all round.
blueharmie Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 3 - 0 away from home. Holy mother ****ing cow. Amazing.

The Guvnor Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Piece of p#ss this Champions League malarkey
TrentFox Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Nobody - in the entire history of football - has a better win ratio in the top tier of European football than LCFC. Stop the world. This will do.
foxoffderby Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 That's cheered me up after Liverpool well done boys. Albrighton played well and Hernandez had a better game
Merging Cultures Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Very enjoyable. Thank you everyone!!

ajthefox Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Hope everyone in Brugges has an absolutely top night and gets home safe, sounded very good on tv.
Croaker Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 So happy to see Riyad get his first goal of the season. Still not sure I want him taking the penalties though!
shen Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Brilliant result, brilliant debut in the CL! Dream stuff. I will still maintain that we weren't scintillating, but that should not take anything away from a win that was rarely in doubt beyond the seventh minute. I'm not sure we can get away with leaving so much space in front of the defense against better opposition, but let's hope Ranieri sees it and fixes it for when we inevitably play tougher opposition in the group
foxes_rule1978 Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 I can see why even Liverpool won this competition in the past decade, piece of piss
Aus Fox Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 So would we prefer to finish in the Europa League or not bother?
