Corky Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 They should've had two off as well, the foul in the build up to the Mahrez free-kick and the thug who needlessly tried to hack Hernandez. Thankfully he's still standing as we need him for Saturday. No doubt Howard Webb agreed with the decision as he was only halfway up the leg.

Beliall Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Fantastic stuff. We played well, but Brugges were shit. Nasty club should have had 2 sent off. Even the fans were on their back. anyone else notice something a little off with Slimani's attitude? Hopefully just me. But, cracking win , Great start and hopefully looking good for the league now, and CL progression
tsintskaro Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 That was too easy Good win but dont make high expectations yet Whos MOTM?
Will1981 Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Great performace. We finally scored a free-kick How they finished with 11 men on the pitch I do not know.

Strokes Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Well I thoroughly enjoyed that, those of you who shot Amartey down, should take a look at themselves. Well done Leicester.
Riot Van Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Superb performance and superb effort from the fans, could hear the lads all game. Can't wait to be apart of it away at Porto and Copenhagen.

Chester Dontlie Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Dilly ding dilly dong! Champions League!
Clever Fox Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Great Result pretty much as I thought it would go. Albrighton clearly man of the Match followed closely by everyone else. Onwards and Upwards we go.
RowlattsFox Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Not sure we played particularly well but we did what we do best when capitalising on mistakes. We make things out of mistakes that no one else would. Brugge were woeful but I'm sure people would be creaming themselves if Spurs went away and won 3-0. Other two drawing is a bonus. We'd have to be terrible to not finish 3rd at least now.
MC Prussian Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Bruges never found into this game. They were intimated, overly cautious, had no control in midfield and were clearly overrun by the far fitter team tonight. Add to that defensive howlers which - if properly exploited - could've led to an even higher final score. Coupled with the low turnout in the stands, poor support, a rather disappointing showing from the home side who hardly ever threatened. Whereas our players showed commitment, hunger, desire, speed, precision, team work. Slimani will come good - he'll need a bit of time to up his ante. I wish we had gone for another right-back in the transfer window, as I can't see Hernandez playing in that position too often. Probably the only weak link tonight. Wasilewski to the rescue? And central midfield could've been bolstered, too. But Amartey and Drinkwater with an almost perfect showing, no complaints there. Big shout out to the Leicester fans who were probably the only ones creating an atmosphere during the match.

You couldn't want for more. A good moral boosting performance. Personally, I'm pleased with a clean sheet, Amerty's performance and Mahrez reminding himself what he can do. We could have done no more.
