Man City Home - Pre-match Discussion

Champions League out of the way for the time being, the players getting pelters from all and sundry, a class outfit coming to town and apparently everyone writing us off.

Grey must start, 3 man centre midfield and run at them from all angles and we'll have a chance.

Time for the real Leicester City to show up.

Don't think today's the day, perhaps a bottom 3 position after the weekend may finally jolt some action.

1-3, a little revenge for last season.

Could even be more as Man City need to push on with their points haul.

As our tactic is to just boot the ball id say go 6-0-4 our midfield doesn't exist anyway. 6 in defence should hopefully keep the score 1-3 if Shinji plays and scores one for us

If the same Leicester play that have most of this season, with no intensity,no motivation,no positivity then we are going to be mailed and this will be embarrassing.

IF the players show abit of pride and remember that they ARE still the Premier League Champions we may have a little chance.

We seem to have had a footballing lobotomy this season so even the most eternal optimist surely cannot expect anything but a complete drubbing from Man City today. On a plus side they can all apply as extras for the Walking Dead.

I've had a late night, didn't sleep well, it's supposed to be bucketing it down later and my wife is out in the car so I'm on the train or bus.

I'm trying to remain optimistic but if at 4.30 I see we're going 4-4-2 with Amartey and King I may just go back home.

À  draw better than loosing again   So leicester should strenghen thé middle  mendy and Amartey  MD  and king upfront MD

Mahrez   and Albrighton and out vardy or slimani the sole striker

a D better than L

Play 4231

Tricky game, do we sit back and defend knowing that if we do they'll steamroller us or do we try to push forward play the ball in their half and keep a high defensive line relying on our super fast defenders' ability to get back which in theory only leaves us open for the counter attack against an aging and slow man city side. I think a high scoring 0-0, followed by plenty of booing, a couple of verses of We're ****ing Shit and Stringer telling us Kingy is once again man of the match.

0 - 4, I'm not even going to bother watching.

Going to watch Leicester still excites me, even after thirty five years of attending. The buzz as you walk the steps to your seat. I am still blindly optimistic before every game but the thought of King and Amartey as a midfield pairing makes me not want to watch. I really can give no credible scenario where we win this one.

Of course I will go this evening and some where deep inside I will think we can pull this off. All I ask is that we show a glimmer of being a decent side. Just enough quality that I can go home without feeling cross.

Please LEICESTER, don't ruin my Saturday night!

ps. I'm fully aware there have been far darker times as a city fan but it's hard to have perspective when you really hate playing badly.

The Vardy turn around game? Maybe he's been spending all this time creating a life-sized doll of Rachel out of Port and Vodka Skittles as an offering to Richard III which will mark the turn around of the season and a dramatic entry into the Europa League. TWO ONE TO THE CITY, TO THE BOYS IN BLUE, TO THE ONCE SHIT TEAM FINALLY IN THE BIG TIME!

If there's one game, just one game this season where Vardy plays like he did last year, it'll be against MCFC.

Doubt that very much. He will be more interested in what he doing after the game in his new celebrity life style.

Cannot wait to see 442 again. King and Amartay - Yummy!

I've just put £50 on Man City with a -3 handicap.

I feel dirty but 12/1 is too good to pass up, the way we are playing.
