City fan here and we're not overly optimistic either. We've had trouble putting away chances in recent weeks and I can see Vardy ripping our defence to shreds. All it takes is one long ball over the top for you to win a game, although without Kanté and Drinkwater he might not get such good service. We'll probably pack the midfield but might struggle without Fernandinho, but Aguero being out is no big dead- we've coped well with it before. Both City and Leicester played weak teams in midweek so this one will probably pan out differently. On the other hand we have the best away record in the league. Okazaki is the player I fear most from your side, but if Vardy and Mahrez got a hat-trick each in a 6-0 home victory, and that was their last goal and your last clean sheet of the season, then that would be the most typical City thing ever.

I'm going with a 2-2 because neither team is likely to keep a clean sheet.

It would've been so much better if you hadn't started with 'City' fan here.

Could have been worse - it could have started with 'Col' City Fan here.

You're being generous mate, you really are. At this time we are turgid.....even without key players you'll still tear us apart, this is the worse I've seen us since returning to the premier league, we're static with no effort, no energy and no end product..further to this the massaiah Ranieri is more like a carry on cast member than a football manager and is making decisions that even Steven Hawkins would struggle to explain.

You need't fear Okazaki because he won't play, instead you'll have the premier league's answer to the chuckle brothers in Vardy and Slimani, the pair work together as well as the USA and Vietnam.

We will probably turn up effort wise, our efforts I feel will be for nothing as you'll come away with the win...simply because we are that poor at the moment. We made Sunderland look like world beaters......

Mark Lawrenson has predicted us to to win 2:1, is he taking the piss lol

I don't know, but I have a weird feeling about this one; I also think we will win it 2-1.

I hope your both right, would love Mahrez to score a team goal and Vardy to blitz them.

I can't see it myself

how can this happen?  you can have a weird feeling but you need to surely sort out how we score 2 goals and they only score 1.   Can they really be so bad at converting the ten or twelve clear chances they are likely to get. I can imagine us scoring a couple I suppose but can't conceive they would only get the one.

The Vardy turn around game? Maybe he's been spending all this time creating a life-sized doll of Rachel out of Port and Vodka Skittles as an offering to Richard III which will mark the turn around of the season and a dramatic entry into the Europa League. TWO ONE TO THE CITY, TO THE BOYS IN BLUE, TO THE ONCE SHIT TEAM FINALLY IN THE BIG TIME!

I still think this will be a hard fought draw, with a 5 man midfield. We're going 3-5-2 from here on out, I hope! Barnes will be on the bench, I suspect.

Is Mendy playing? I'm not... overly optimistic, but I would like to see him get more time and settle in.

Not as starter as far as I know. So expect King and Amartey in the middle. yay.

This is the match that Leicester really need to get themselves together, and show why they are the Champions of England. There is no better match to kick start their season than this one, against one of the favourites for this seasons title.

C'mon you Foxes..... Time to show the world why you achieved the Greatest Upset in Sporting History..... Let's see you Rock 'n' Roll against Man City and begin another journey in shocking the world again!!!

Kasper coming back in is huge, we know it will be 442, I don't think that's even up for discussion.

The big problem is that after 10 changes on Wednesday,  no one has grabbed the opportunity, so I think we are stuck with the same back 4.

Hooefully Mendy in alongside King in midfield and Mahrez and Albrighton on the wings.

Okazaki just behind Slimani.

If Slimani plays that central attacking role and Albrighton can whip cross aftet cross in, I actually think we can cause these some problems.

Hopefully with Kasper behind them the defence with be more confident.

Going with a 2-1 win here, Slimani at the double.

If we don't press them high up the pitch tomorrow we will struggle massively. Press them high and wait for the **** ups I think we will be okay

I would like to see Gray get a start of at least a decent chunk (maybe 30 mins) of game time. Man City have been weak from headers this year so maybe Slimani will be worthwhile for a little while. Personally I'd have Shinzi start with Slim but I think he'll be a sub and we will preserve with the faltering Vardy/Slimani combo up top.

Exited about Mendy. I know it's naive but our midfield have been so turgid I am grasping for straws about our midfield. I'd love to get a good look at him after enduring Amartey in the middle of the park.

After the awful, awful performance this week all I ask is the boys put in a good performance. I expect we'll ship at least two goals. But I hope for improvement and some attacking flair maybe a goal or two. That's all I hope.

I dont hold out much hope of a result here but after an underwhelming few weeks I would like to get a reasonably decent performance from the lads.

I'm not optimistic that it will end well for Ranieri but I still want him to turn it around.

yeh, blaming all our woes on Amartey now, and  Cambiasso couple of years ago. then demanding we sign cattermole. plus the other day wanting fat corrupt Sam in.
