adam Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 It's the way we play that concerns me. If we show no ambition and sit deep and look for a draw from kick off then i won't be best pleased. We need to have a go at these teams. There on a terrible run of form. Let's get at them.
whoareyaaa Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 More confident in todays starting 11, looking forward to this, greasy fry up then the footie nicee.

Looks like it's neck and neck between Fuchs and Albrighton ATM. FFS I'm fed up of "whipping boy" and "scapegoat". We are shit have you not seen us this season. They all deserve the criticism they get.
filbertway Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 Sit deep and let Southampton dominate then. Should be fun viewing this.

Nalis Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 Interesting line up. Good to see Claudio has the confidence in Benny to put him on the bench rather than freezing him out.
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 I have no idea if that will work. I expect both Gray and Vardy will need to pull wide at times to give us some width. Otherwise it's very narrow and clogged up in the middle.
MC Prussian Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 Yes, an odd 4-3-3/4-3-1-2 hybrid judging by the names on the team sheet: Schmeichel Simpson - Morgan - Huth - Fuchs Ndidi - Mendy - Drinkwater Gray - Okazaki - Vardy Okazaki and Vardy interchanging as the main attacking threat up front, with Okazaki occasionally dropping back to act as a No. 10? Gray sticks out as a bit of a sore thumb in a 4-3-1-2 or even a narrow diamond here, but in a 4-3-3, he'd be the one on our left, I guess. Kapustka, Albrighton and Musa to come on as subs is my prediction.
FireFox Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 Just now, Danizen said: What formation are we playing? If any? Probably 442 diamond - Ndidi sitting, Gray and Okazaki taking turns at the point.
daverollo Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 I like the line up. With no big man up front and their towering Dutchman I hope to see us try and play it on the deck and into space more. Have Wes and Hugh got that message? Time will tell come on you foxes
Aus Fox Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 On a side note does Benalouane's inclusion indicate we have seen the last of our Big Pole?

Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 We have Shinji, gray and Vardy up front. DONT FUVKING LAUNCH IT FROM THE BACK!! I hop Drinkwater is sitting in the centre of the midfield three.

Fox 4 Life Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 I like the lineup. Desperately need some creativity and Gray adds that. Hopefully having Mendy and Ndidi will release drinky to play more attacking like last season. Okazaki is also the best partner for Vards IMO. COYB

They all deserve the criticism they get.Agree, they've all been equally shit. But some still feel the need to pick out certain players while giving others a free pass.
StanSP Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 watch us play route one with barely any height up top

st albans fox Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 Surprisingly strong line up from soton. Those guys will expect to play on Wednesday. A few strong challenges early on please.
Dr The Singh Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 Are there any Southampton players on a slump? Cus there definitely going to shine and score today?
