So the Brighton player gets booked for a great challenge and then nothing for the Arsenal player who hit a guy in the head with his shoulder.

Big 6 bias.

Amazing! That’s an NFL tackle from someone who is absolutely stacked! How has he got away with that?

Cos he didn't play for the little team

Stuart Attwell in poor refereeing shocker.

No action for a player who nearly had his head knocked off but a Brighton player gets a yellow for a fine tackle. :S

Also correct ;)

I don;t know the name of the ref we had yesterday - but he lost control of the time wasting and should've booked their no 4 for a second time and let him off... the lino was of pensionable age (what is the age limit?) and was 5 yds behind play when he let one of their offsides go in the first half - shocking.

Arsenal shouldn't have sold giroud. They could have done with him to aim for in the box. I bet aubemeyang is glad he joined ?

Worrying thing with Attwell was he seemed more interested in restraining angry team mates than checking the head injury. Calling on the physios is OK but show some interest in players safety, that supercedes anything else that's going on. He had one a couple of months ago where a manager questioned the players safety in an Attwell game. Sure, he doesn't make the thuggish challenge but once he lets one go he's setting the tolerance bar too high. He shouldn't be anywhere near the Premier League he still looks like a trainee being given a go rather than an authoritative figure who is in control of things. One day someone will get seriously injured in one of his games, it's very worrying.

On replay I thought Xhaka's dive was worth a booking (and worth a retrospective look for sure).  So Brighton fans can reasonably argue Arse should be playing with nine.  Attwell has managed to turn an entertaining match into a black eye for the PL.

Chris Hughton gets nowhere near enough credit. Thought they were excellent today, some nice football at time too but they also know when to be ugly.

Up to 10th for them now, 3 points off ourselves!

Well done to Brighton, heroic performance against a team clearly favoured by refs. Can't wait for the incoming Arsenal fan tv uploads lol
