Guest Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 So the Brighton player gets booked for a great challenge and then nothing for the Arsenal player who hit a guy in the head with his shoulder. Big 6 bias.

Suzie the Fox Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 (edited) Awful refereeing in this 2nd half. Knocky having a good game though. I say that and he gets subbed off Edited 4 March 2018 by Suzie the Fox

AjcW Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 go on knocky!! Sometimes think we lack a bit of that passion nowadays. Not got enough grumpy players

Chester Dontlie Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 Knocky is well pissed about being taken off so soon
Matt Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 (edited) Stuart Attwell in poor refereeing shocker. No action for a player who nearly had his head knocked off but a Brighton player gets a yellow for a fine tackle. Edited 4 March 2018 by Matt 1
Popular Post Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 March 2018 Popular Post Posted 4 March 2018 That Schelotto geezer looks like he's gonna go and find some buried treasure after the game 5

ealingfox Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 We should be pushing for 6th ffs! What a missed opportunity. Arsenal are absolute toilet. 1

Md9 Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 Arsenal shouldn't have sold giroud. They could have done with him to aim for in the box. I bet aubemeyang is glad he joined ?
fazzyfox Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 (edited) Worrying thing with Attwell was he seemed more interested in restraining angry team mates than checking the head injury. Calling on the physios is OK but show some interest in players safety, that supercedes anything else that's going on. He had one a couple of months ago where a manager questioned the players safety in an Attwell game. Sure, he doesn't make the thuggish challenge but once he lets one go he's setting the tolerance bar too high. He shouldn't be anywhere near the Premier League he still looks like a trainee being given a go rather than an authoritative figure who is in control of things. One day someone will get seriously injured in one of his games, it's very worrying. Edited 4 March 2018 by fazzyfox 2

KingsX Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 On replay I thought Xhaka's dive was worth a booking (and worth a retrospective look for sure). So Brighton fans can reasonably argue Arse should be playing with nine. Attwell has managed to turn an entertaining match into a black eye for the PL.
Sunbury Fox Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 Blimey, Brighton only 3 points behind us with the team they have, compared to ours. 3
AjcW Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 Chris Hughton gets nowhere near enough credit. Thought they were excellent today, some nice football at time too but they also know when to be ugly. Up to 10th for them now, 3 points off ourselves! 1

The Guvnor Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 Well done Brighton poetic justice after that shocking unpunished foul .
Chester Dontlie Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 (edited) Well done to Brighton, heroic performance against a team clearly favoured by refs. Can't wait for the incoming Arsenal fan tv uploads Edited 4 March 2018 by Chester Dontlie
