Nobody will pay 40m because they know they don't have to. No way we keep him going into the season.

If it is £28 million, then that is laughable.  Oscar went from warming the Chelsea bench to China for £60 million, Pogba £90 million, Di Maria £59 million, Sterling £49 million, Ozil £42 million.  We've had our pants pulled down again if that is the fee!!

Unless your people are desperately trying to force Monaco into agreeing the lemar deal, there are too many noises from inside our place for it not to be happening.

It might very well happen, but only person with a shred of credibility is John Percy and he's not said much.

 

Algerian reporter close to Mahrez said no bid had even been made. It's exact same nonsense as last season with people trying to be first to break the story.

Mahrez agent has obviously been contracted by some club or another and that's why he's put in a transfer request. But I suppose whether our lot can seal either deal is another question. 

 

The only reasons people are pointing to this happening, is A) he left his summer hols early, and B) people on foxestalk are having a meltdown. But maybe you have clued up ITKs, no one our side of the ITK fence has called anything though.

Except that we signed him in August, so you're quite wrong.
