Dusan Tadic has always impressed me, as has Marko Arnautovic. Whilst not ideal, the following may possibly come into contention if we wanted to spend the 'big' money elsewhere: Jams McClean Knockaert Whabi Kazri Nigel Redmond Kamil Grosicki I hope to god we can do better than all of those options.

Tielemans63 Posted 4 June 2017 Posted 4 June 2017 Mahrez out, Gylfi in? Would be very, very happy with that.

Unfortunately Everton massive odds on still.
SCP1906 Posted 4 June 2017 Posted 4 June 2017 If Vardy goes, then get another winger with a good crossing ability, and play around Slimani's heading ability. If Vardy goes, Soares from Porto would be a good replacement.Soares is a good striker to play in counter attack, like Vardy. And Porto needs money/needs to sell, they will not comply with UEFA financial fair play for the 2sd season in a row.So, wouldnt be that expensive. But yes, if Mahrez goes too, definitely a good winger/creative player is needed.

Will always love him but think it's time to go (for the right price), remember he wants out, but the attitude is always Foxes Never Quit, clearly he doesn't stand by that. I think the article was spot on. Whilst I will remember his performances previously I certainly couldn't 'love' him. I was so disappointed when Kante left but could understand it after a while and all is forgiven and it was great to see him pay us a visit. Marhez for me now though is soured due his disinterest and behaviour training wise last year. He was being paid a fortune by our owners, who the hell does he think he is the selfish little twat. If he'd turned up to training on time and gave of his best on the field he would have left a cult hero. Now he's just another self centred individual who sooner gone the better for the right price.

Agree.. £100k a week for the half hearted performances he put in last season!!.. He soured his reputation from the season before in my eyes big time!.. Fvck off to The Arse and rot on their bench!

Samilktray Posted 5 June 2017 Posted 5 June 2017 Imagine if we sold Riyad and replaced him with James McClean, or better yet Nigel Redmon a player who I'm not sure exists

Mean and cheap shots at the owners and Mahrez imo.

He attacked Mahrez on many other fronts with utter lies. ps: Of course, you can cherry-pick those articles that match your inclinations.
Thracian Posted 5 June 2017 Posted 5 June 2017 Apparently, in the event of Mahrez leaving, we're exploring the possibility of using a cardboard cut-out on the basis that a passable portrayal will occupy two defenders at a time and we can save a fortune on wages It's recognised that the cut-out will lose the ball quite ratyher frustratingly and won't do a lot defensively, but that should aid authenticity, based on much of last season, and we're just working on a wind-up mechanism that delivers three or four runs each half and makes a buzzing sound to reflect the crowd's excitement. If successful during pre-season trials, we may also get a managerial cut-out. Again, a lack of communication shouldn't matter, because Ranieri was clearly talking to himself during the latter stages of his time here. The return of Sir Alex Ferguson's image has been mentioned. Stationed in the technical area it's hoped he'll have an extendable right leg to kick arse. Robotic experts are thought to be working on his watch-checking gestures...hence the delay in any official announcement.

It would probably not score many penalties either ... have a permanent sulky face painted on and only be taken out of the cupboard 10 minutes after everyone else has arrived for training. However ... it probably wouldn't be able to take the ball past 3 defenders and score a cracker ...
Stevosevic Posted 5 June 2017 Posted 5 June 2017 Gray on the wing and use the Mahrez money to buy a proper number 10 to play off Vardy

Haha, but we might have Harvey Barnes gliding through all the open space the cut-out's presence creates - and scoring a hatful! Barnes's value would soar, and even the cut-out might have a value if it gets proper credit for the assists!

Suspect Arsenal would only give us max 20m plus the player - very much doubt the player would be interested in coming here
