Wolves pre-season friendly THIS AFTERNOON 3pm

Well that's pissed me right off.

We don't even look like a team of footballers. How many times did we just lose the ball straightaway? I know it's pre-season, but I genuinely think Shakey will get sacked before Christmas and we'll go down based on these performances.

I hate it when people over react to pre season matches but I'm seriously starting to worry now. we've been crap in all the preseason matches. If this is a shape of things to come Shakey will be lucky to see October as manager, never mind Christmas.

Wow only two creative players on either wing and nothing else linking them to any other player on the pitch.

God we need an attacking CM - which is a shame considering they'll be four DCM's competing for the other midfield position.

I know it's a preseason friendly and so the players are probably still missing their edge, but we really need to change it up a bit. I was concerned with the results towards the end of the season and we don't seem to be doing much about it.

Hope im proved to be wrong but I'm not confident in us being around the top 10 as things stand.

Probably the most seething I've been about a bet in some time. What a fook up. We had one shot on target in 90 mins. God help us if that's any reflection on things to come

why you betting on friendlies

You know it's bad when there isn't even the positive aspect of Albrighton doing well :(

We're crying for a CAM and ffs give up on that damn 4-4-2 away. Especially against teams who play 5 in the middle. Arsenal would have crushed us.

Do the players and staff feel as bored as we do when we play. Ineffective boring football, there is nothing worse.

Drinkwater has lost his spark - money gone to his head or was his rise just the effects of playing alongside Ngolo?

The two games in 24 hours idea hasn't worked at all IMO.

Would have been better to have Luton on Monday, MK on Thursday, Wolves Sunday, Burton Wednesday and Gladbach on Saturday and to continually rotate the side.

Nevertheless, a good run around today.  If we play like that against Gladbach then i'll be worried. Today was a game with a half fit side with no subs against a fully fit and ready to go side with 10 subs.

It's not the drama that some of you faries are making it out to be though. Wouldn't want to share a trench with you lot. The white flag would be up in seconds.

his shot to set up Cavaleiro for their goal was a thing of beauty

I bloody love Shinji, but even I'm starting to see he's worse than useless

Sad isn't it? Love the guy but last season and so far this pre-season he's been totally ineffective.

Sounds like Drinkwater had a shocker again then? Finally people are starting to pick up on how bad at football he is.

Truly embarrassing performance, Wolves should have had about five.

I don't buy into the excuse that it's just a friendly and therefore a fitness exercise. We should comfortably have beaten all of the opposition we've played so far without getting out of first gear and irrespective of whether or not it's a friendly all of the players across the entire squad should now be at a stage with less than two weeks to go whereby they're looking to stake a claim for a starting spot.

Unfortunately, the so called first eleven look too comfortable and it makes you wonder how much of that is down to the manager and his reluctance to mix it up a bit.

Before the 1990 World Cup Yugoslavia underwhelmed in their warm up matches. Their manager, when asked about his team's poor form by the media said, "You don't judge Pavarotti by how he sings in the shower. You wait until he gets on stage.".

I agree. I'm not sure if the lack of effort at the end should be of concern either as this was apparent vs Liverpool. Obviously scraping a draw would mean nothing really but I can't help but be disappointed that there was no desire at the end.

Hopefully we're just getting the mistakes and poor play out the way before the season starts but I really don't fancy us to impress vs Arsenal at this stage.
