He's played three league games this season; good in two, a disgrace at Arsenal.

Lets hope the latter was a blip.

A disgrace at arsenal? Still our most creative player.

I can't imagine you watched the game and came to that conclusion?

Along with Wes, who had an absolute shocker he was by far and away our worst performer that night.

The only thing he did right all game was lob a corner into the box which Vardy headed in. Other than this what did he CREATE to be called our most creative player?

Step overs, going around two men and then losing the ball, going around one man and then passing to the opposing team IS NOT CREATIVE. There has to be an end product.

There were passes going astray; losing the ball constantly while dribbling; jumping out of tackles etc.

If you don't see these things in games, maybe check out his assists and PL goals for last season.

To reiterate he was good at Man Utd, (no end product mind you) and looked very good against Brighton which gives me more hope than I have had in a long time that he still can be productive for us.

I was at the match, pissed admittedly but I was there. He put Vardy pretty much 1/1 with Cech but he failed to control it.

Both probably exaggerating, he wasn't great but not the liability you are describing.

Skybet paid me this morning :) at 6/1 in early August and 11/4 in June. Nice that you got 16s!

Given me a nice little fund for this years betting.

Mahrez is awesome, the best player I have ever seen in a city shirt.. I have a feeling he is going to have a cracker this season

Mahrez couldn't even lace up Kante's boots.

The point I'm clearly making is that we are a 'win at all costs' society. There seems to be no morals, and double standards and hypocrisy everywhere. All that people are bothered about is that Mahrez plays well so we win football matches. They aren't bothered that he doesn't even want to be here, has publically stated it and, despite his best efforts STILL can't leave.

I'm not surprised that so many want to conveniently overlook this. It's 2017 and this is FT. But for me it leaves a bitter taste. Either I'm just being more honest than most? Or most genuinely don't give shite?

To answer your question directly, I'd not be bothered now if Mahrez was left to rot in the reserves. I'd rather have players at the club who want to play for the club.

I wonder what the likes of Big Steve Walsh will be making of these shananigans...

Then , it would be good tact, calculated business path to use him for and to  our gains. If he can perform give his services

to team, squad, and club, no matter what one personally thinks. Its not a moral issue on the table so we should use the top

and all  rescources we have available....or not??

Didn't you say you wanted Drinkwater to stay? The player who handed in a transfer request right at the end of the window and nearly dropped us in a right mess. Why would you have been happy to keep Drinkwater and not Mahrez?

Don't bother.

Morals are strongly depending on which player you like. If you don't like him, you can bash the ungrateful bastard to death. A lot here, who're hell bent on destroying Mahrez, are finding all kind of excuses for Drinkwater's move and say how great he was (Which is true. At least until November 2016). Mahrez just strolled around in Europe just in case, because well, Sambia is kinda far away.

lol is that why players choose him as the POTY ahead of him!

The way this forum handles kantè is one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

If I remember correctly, he didn't want to come here, he forced Leicester to give him a release clause, which allowed other teams to bully the club and pretty much knocked 30-40% of his price, he jumped ship the first chance he got and left the team hobbling and In crucial need for a DM for about 6 month (which destroyed the season and almost got us relegated) every time kantè's name ia mentioned, people start drooling, "oh kantè, pls come back" "that beautiful little French man" "kante <3". If only they had the same love for their own players.

And here enters Drinkwater! 5 years of service! Playing the championship and winning it, playing in the PL, fighting relegation, winning the league, playing in the champions league and fighting relegation again. And still gets slated (there are people who are thinking of booing him )

He underperformed last season but he could've been playing with an injury so, I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

I will give him the same benefit of the doubt for him handing in a transfer request/not being "fit" because I don't know for sure. Plus, he didn't leave the club high and dry, there are replacements

Same goes for riyad, getting the dog's abuse on the regular, some posters enjoying when he underperforms, downplaying his performances. But that's not enough, now they are trying to underplay his achievements, referring to the best performance in the title winning year as "a good season".

But don't worry, his achievements (just like drinky's and other Leicester players) are written on stone, no one can erase that!. Those same people don't want him in the league because they will have eggs on their faces if he rips the league because he is playing with better players in a system that doesn't require him to play RWB.

Question is MR Fox if he does leave and starts ripping the league up - will your allegiance go with him, I mean you can cut away the blue kit from the pics covering your bedroom wall, but what are you gonna do with your mahrez bedspread and pillow cases?

I've read about 3 lines of this and while he did jump ship he was undoubtedly the main reason we won the league.

He was absolutely unplayable and frequently had my open mouthed in amazement at how he had won the ball back, beat three players and provided Vardy and Mahrez the platform to excel.

The rest were very very good but in my opinion he is the best player we have ever seen.

Not for me, IMO the main reason we won the league was cos Vardy scored a shedload of goals and set a premier league record along the way.

The question I would put to you is would he have done that without Kante?

Vardy is my favourite ever Leicester player and always will be but Kante is a freak of nature.

I guess we have to wait and find out

I'm already facing  "you are a plastic fan" in here, I can only imagine what the fans of the big clubs would say.

Plus, I don't only use this forum for talking about football, I really enjoy the general chat forum.

We wouldn't have one the league without any of the three of them! They were all indispensable and if you took either Kante, Mahrez or Vardy out that team I don't think we'd have won it.

Personally I'd consider Vardy the best player I've ever seen for us because our entire style of play is built round him and he's had more great years for us than Mahrez or Kante did and because I love watching him at his explosive best the most, but it's all subjective.

And that is a very valid opinion, yorkie said that he thinks its vardy, I think its mahrez, the 3 of us all have valid opinions!

question is, do you consider him a club legend, because I don't! It isn't just about being very good, its about longevity and experiencing the good and the bad, which he hasn't.

The question is should we play him anymore and i think not. Long term our focus needs to be players that are commited. We have to get a system that doesnt include him to soften the blow of his inveitable departure.

Quite honestly he has made it crystal clear that he doesnt want to play for our club anymore so as far as i am concerned he has good as left now.

Are you actually serious?

Would the team have won it without Kasper, vardy or mahrez!

I will make my case for riyad counting points game by game in the title winning season!

Game Week 1:

4-2 win vs Sunderland (mahrez 2 goals)= contributing for the 3 points MOTM

Game Week 2:

2-1 win vs west ham (mahrez got 1 goal)= contributing for the 3 points

Game Week 3:

A late mahrez equalizer vs spurs gets Leicester 1 point = directly got 1 point MOTM

Game Week 5:

Two mahrez assists brought the team to a 3-2 win after being down 0-2 = contributing to the 3 points MOTM

Game week 6:

2-2 draw vs stoke (mahrez scoring and assisting)= contributing for 1 point

Game week 9:

2-2 draw vs Southampton (mahrez assist)= contributing for 1 point

Game week 10:

1-0 win vs crystal palace (the winning assist= contributing for the 3 points

Game week 11:

3-2 win vs WBA (mahrez 2 goals)= contributing for the 3 points MOTM

game week 13:

3-0 win vs Newcastle (assisting the ulloa goal)= contributing for the 3 points

Game week 15:

3-0 win vs Swansea (mahrez hat-trick) = contributing to the 3 points MOTM

game week 16:

2-1 win vs Chelsea (mahrez assisting the first goal and scoring the game winner) = contributing for the 3 points MOTM

game week 17:

3-2 win vs Everton (mahrez 2 goals)= contributing for the 3 points MOTM

game week 23:

3-0 win vs stoke (mahrez assist)= contributing for the 3 points

Game week 24:

2-0 win vs Liverpool (mahrez assist)= contributing for the 3 points

Game week 25

3-1 win vs man city (mahrez assist and goal)= contributing for the 3 points MOTM

game week 27:

2-2 draw vs WBA (mahrez assist)= contributing for the 1 point

Game week 28:

1-0 win vs Watford away (mahrez scores the game winner)= contributing for the 3 points MOTM

game week 30:

Win vs crystal palace away (mahrez winner) contributing for the 3 points MOTM

game week 35:

4-0 win vs Swansea (mahrez goal) contributing for the 3 points

He directly contributed to 49 points!!!! From 81 points, that's little bit more than 60%

With 4 games (12 points) that he scored all the goals and 1 (3) points where he assisted the winning goal!

Now try and convince me that kantè was the main reason we won the league!

Contrary to many posters here, I'm more than willing to go the distance and take an hour from my time to research and provide stats and facts to prove my points instead of throwing my opinion out there!
