Well the development squad just got royally humped by Fleetwood's reserves. Thankfully I think we'll only lose one or two at most, and even if we do, hopefully we've got some replacements lined up.
Monk Posted 29 August 2017 Posted 29 August 2017 The league winning squad was never going to be here for ever, so it has always been a question of when not if the squad would be broken up. I felt when Shakey took over that it offered some continuity with the squad... but equally, that may cause some players in the squad to look to build their careers elsewhere. Hope we can keep as many as possible but I expect by this time next year there will only be a handful of that squad left.

It only 5 minutes since they were all getting massive stick on FT, so how come it is the end of the world if they leave ...

So on that basis I don't really care what happens between now and Thursday, I know the club will still be there Friday morning, and that's what matters, not individuals.

The club will purchase another mercenary and those employees will play football in the hope earning themselves more money and the club prize money so this whole charade can continue to roll whilst we, the customers, go along, waving our scarves and purchasing our merchandise, all in the hope that one day football returns to it's past glories. If the rumors are true and mahrez is going to Chelsea, this is what gonna happen In a span of 2 weeks, we will get: Hazard and mahrez vs simmo and fuchs Salah and mane vs simmo and fuchs (possibly 2 times)
