Dogs are dumb, smelly, messy animals who need constant attention. They also piss and shit everywhere unless they're trained. At least cats don't shit where they live. 

 

I don't have any pets but I'd rather have a cat than a dog.

When I was about 9 years old I had a sleep over at a mates who had a couple of cats. In the middle of the night I felt something by my feet at the bottom of the bed but just went back to sleep.

 

Woke up in the morning and flung the bed cover off to discover a half eaten, headless mouse, missing his head and with it's guts hanging out. 

 

Put me off cats for life tbh.

About 10 years ago, against my better judgement (i.e. the missus decided) we got two kittens. Once past the cute, "I'll just shit in this tray so you can pick my turds up later, eh" stage they turned into physcopathic killers. Seriously, the amount of dead wildlife I used to come home an find was beyond the joke! Mice and birds yes, but also rabbits (complete with empty skull after cat had consumed the brain), a mole and even a fuching parakeet! (not mine)

 

Then the infested my house with fleas the dirty bastards so I banished them from the house and just fed them outside. Being the disloyal little shites that they are they soon got the message and went to live with a lady a few doors down. She asked me if she could have my cats - i said "no problem, they're yours". 

 

I still see them when I go for a walk. They give me the evil eyes!

I cannot fathom what a cat brings into someone’s life other than annoyance, dead wildlife and sh!t. I’ve never felt comfortable around cats, they’re evil creatures.

Basically every trait dogs possess cats do too. The main difference is that cats are much more independent/less loyal.

You have to earn the affection of a cat whereas most dogs are basically whores and will love anyone who gives them a little fuss.
