Gazza M Posted 8 October 2017 Posted 8 October 2017 It is unbelievable that in the summer we were arguing that we had too many central midfielders and had King down at 5th/6th choice! What a blunder. Imagine sending Mendy an Drinky out of the club in one day and the replacement not sorted....

We should have tried to have signed Silva AND kept Drinkwater. Mendy wanted out and was out, James is a sick note now I'm afraid..etc... The club is a shambles at the moment.

I was laughed at too Col but we had the same problem last year! The club just never learns!

Bloke and his agent are having a laugh. Makes Crystal Palace's links to Rickie Lambert and Carlton Cole in recent weeks look half sensible.

I didn't really rate Mendy but considering we were losing Drinkwater then Mendy should have stayed - even if it was just for basic rotation.

We're looking pretty desperate in the middle it has to be said.
Clever Fox Posted 8 October 2017 Posted 8 October 2017 Was Meireles an enforcer in midfield or am I mixing him up with somebody else? Either Way, Just move Maguire into midfield with Iborra, NDiddi, and Albrighton or Chilwell. there should be there enough there to stop Teams further from our Goal.
