weller54 Posted 9 January 2018 Posted 9 January 2018 Can we get rid of him through a scrappage scheme?..

Foxxed Posted 16 January 2018 Posted 16 January 2018 Well he can finish. But can we consistently supply him the ball so he can finish?

Tringfox Posted 16 January 2018 Posted 16 January 2018 Give him time, I’m sure he will get better, I’d prefer him to Slimani!

the fox Posted 16 January 2018 Posted 16 January 2018 (edited) GET RID!!!!!!! but honestly, great game by kelechi Edited 16 January 2018 by the fox
foxes_rule1978 Posted 16 January 2018 Posted 16 January 2018 (edited) Nacho came to life after his goal, looked a different player Edited 16 January 2018 by foxes_rule1978
UPinCarolina Posted 16 January 2018 Posted 16 January 2018 Definitely seems better when he's up front as a lone striker.
teblin Posted 16 January 2018 Posted 16 January 2018 Took both goals well. If he can up the workrate he'll score goals for us.
Vindaloo FOX Posted 16 January 2018 Posted 16 January 2018 Vardy being 31 now we need to plan for the future and i feel Nacho could be our future star striker, just give the lad time. 1
Tuna Posted 16 January 2018 Posted 16 January 2018 Delighted for him, will do wonders for his confidence.
foxes21 Posted 16 January 2018 Posted 16 January 2018 I’d start him behind Vardy against Watford. He seemed to come deep a lot tonight and looked comfortable linking the play.
Webbo Posted 16 January 2018 Posted 16 January 2018 Apart from his goal he was totally anonymous first half, much better second half. Maybe it's a confidence thing. Earned himself a place on bench at least for Saturday, 2
knitro Posted 16 January 2018 Posted 16 January 2018 Nice game, even if it was versus League 1 opposition. Credit where credit is due.
Adster Posted 16 January 2018 Posted 16 January 2018 Jermaine Beckford scored a hatrick in a third round replay... 1
foxfanazer Posted 16 January 2018 Posted 16 January 2018 (edited) Can only score against what’s in front of you. Credit where it’s due, he took both goals well now time to kick on Kelechi Edited 16 January 2018 by foxfanazer
Lovejoy Posted 16 January 2018 Posted 16 January 2018 Next season he could be class. I feel like it's a learning curve for him here but our build up play is getting much better, he'll thrive on service into the 18 yard box.
Ozwin Posted 16 January 2018 Posted 16 January 2018 (edited) His finishing is pretty sublime tbf. It's just a case of us finding him in the positions needed to have these half chances/one on ones. We're not (or weren't) the kind of side that works the ball into the box so seeing us improve in that aspect bodes well for him long term. Edited 16 January 2018 by Ozwin 2
Popular Post lgfualol Posted 16 January 2018 Popular Post Posted 16 January 2018 Don't think he can play behind Vardy. Needs to be up top or nothing. He can definitely finish. Looked much better after scoring. Hopefully he pushes on from here. 7

Earned himself a place on bench at least for Saturday, I agree. I think he struggles with understanding after the post-match interview, maybe that is the problem. Good on him though, two well-taken goals.
