He's 34 in January and probably has 1 more season left at this level IMO.

Yeah i just meant someone is either retired or not.. i wasnt sure how someone 'starts' to retire... His legs are going if thats what you meant...

I would apply that to basically everyone - though Wes gets different treatment from me as the club captain; he deserves to be "phased out" rather than just replaced.

Unless there is a centre half that Puel really rates who becomes available I'm happy to wait until the summer.

We have Morgan and Maguire who are playing well with Dragovic more than capable and Huth back in training.  With just the FA Cup and less than half a season's worth of league matches there is no need to panic.

I'm quite happy with the team and squad and seems as we're comfortable in the league I think we should only buy a top notch player or not at all this January.

if we lose riyad, get gray on the left side and buy brahimi.

Joking aside, it's so weird to think we have a top-quality CM already waiting in the wings as soon as the window rolls open.

He will be unfit amd get crocked on his first game.

why do people suggest fekir and malcom. they are too good for us. thauvin is the most realistic out of the 3 and it's still hard to get him

New RB, winger and CF (the latter only if more than one striker goes).

Not sure we need many new faces in Jan personally. Would be good to try out a few punts like we had on Riyad in the Champ for example. Didn't think we needed him at the time because of the wide options we had, but now look... it'd be good if we could use the second half to bed a few next generation LCFC players in ready for next season.

No more Algerians please! The only positive thing about Mahrez leaving is the fan boys pissing off

I’d be quite happy for us to sign nobody this jan. If both Ulloa and Slim go then I’d bring a striker in and a right back needs signing eventually but I’m happy to go with what we’ve got

i only recommended him because i watched him a lot, i'm not gonna name you an unknown player from the brazilian 2nd division to sound smarter.

and i mean, mahrez did ok for this club and slimani doesn't fit the system, i would happily want a player with his qualities in this club. and you saw him play against us, do you really not rate him or think he is worth it.

Went to watch Ajax today. If/When Mahrez leaves id very much like us to sign David Neres lol

He looked like vintage Ronaldinho at times today! ???

If Riyad goes, we will need another winger, but don't call it a Riyad replacement. There will be no such like for like replacement available. We will need to evolve. Same as if we lost Vardy.

They are quite unique players. With unique skill sets. Just like that Liam Neeson dad in the movies!!

I probably wouldn't advocate the changes. Team is doing well and we're unlikely to push for the top or get sucked into the relegation battle. Think I'd rather we kept our powder dry and offloaded the deadwood.

I’d even keep most of that, unless someone is going to pay good money for them. We aren’t a charity.
