filbertway Posted 23 December 2017 Posted 23 December 2017 Amazed we're still in this! Wilf needs to be way more aware when the ball passes him. His brain turns off when the ball passes him. Should have been winning that second ball ahead of Mata for their equaliser.
Vacamion Posted 23 December 2017 Posted 23 December 2017 I’ll be honest. Pre-match, I thought we were going to get tonked tonight. We held them off, scored a sublime “proper Leicester” goal and then concede because our right back was again left exposed (although there was a hint of a foul on Mahrez). Despite what my heart wants, my head still thinks we’ll lose this, but my goodness, we are light years better than in our home game against them last season. I think we’ll be better with Shinji on. I love Albrighton. He’s given us some fantastic times, and I hope he does again, but he seems to have lost his mojo a bit. Let’s have these. COYB 1

Jonezy Posted 23 December 2017 Posted 23 December 2017 Their goal was a bit lucky and should have been defended, but they were far too often in crossing position from Simpson side, so only a question of time before the ball bounced for them. No need to scapegoat.

But it's rather churlish to shut down fair criticism of improvements we could make because "It could be worse" Not shutting down the criticism, and if it came across like that I apologise and yes, you are correct. More annoyed with the negative undertones of a lot of posts on this site and one might argue it seems churlish to criticise a fairly decent performance. Always willing to admit when I am wrong though and never want to stand in the way of decent, constructive criticism. Just not sure the "he's done fvck all else" bit added to the argument and was what maybe riled me into a response but I'm fully aware I can be a bit of a nob so thanks for pulling me up on it. Let's hope it is address second half as apart from down our right hand side we've looked fairly comfortable. Edited 23 December 2017 by RumbleFox

UPinCarolina Posted 23 December 2017 Posted 23 December 2017 We’re giving them all they can handle. All we can ask for, really.

Avoiding defeat would be great and anything more fantastic But the 11 against at the moment appear bland, boring and lacking of confidence - we arguably have the more skillful players. This is no classic United side like years past - they are there to be got at (albeit, that needs to be done sensibly).

gurru991 Posted 23 December 2017 Posted 23 December 2017 I can't believe the negativity from "leicester fans" on this forum. Disgraceful !!
