Bryn Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 I think we're doing ok here, Sheff Utd are defending very well.
Stadt Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 Iborra and N'Didi haven't made enough horizontal movement to stretch their midfield
TheUltimateWinner Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 United are defending well. Some of our interlinking play has been good and that shouldn’t be overlooked. A bit more clinical finishing and we’d be winning.
foxfanazer Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 Not too disappointed with that first half. Ok we’ve not capitalised but we’ve been dominant and fairly creative. Only Simpson I can say isn’t have a very good game
Redouane Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 Vardy and Nacho need to step their shit up, so many wasted opportunities
WigstonWanderer Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 Looking comfortable and some good chances created, particularly by Mahrez, but no teeth
Suzie the Fox Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 1st half performance was ok. But we do miss the goal. Great performance from Gray And Ben, only player im not too impressed with is Nacho. Has Wes touched the ball yet? Not sure if thats a good or bad thing 1
Webbo Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 Not great but not terrible either. Chilwell is having a good game. I like their keeper, looks a good prospect.
Tanya Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 Decent first half. Agree only Simpson is having a poor game. Vards will wish he was more clinical - he should have had one and possibly two. My only concern is we think the job is done and come out without enough intensity in the second half!

No points for possession, we proved that in 2015/16 Fast transitions are needed, not passing it around. We do mix attacks up, but possession for possession's sake means nothing. 1
shen Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 Mahrez is toying with these. Highly impressed (and relieved) about him keeping up the form pre-saga. It's the best kind of response he can give and lets hope he keeps it up for the rest of the season. Special talent! 2 1
wardyfox86 Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 Simpson is wasted in this system. I like him but he has zero impact. Rather play Albrighton at RB. I think Nacho also struggles alongside Vardy. 1
adam Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 Not the best and not the worst. Nacho isn't suited to playing behind Vardy at all. If we get one goal we will probably get 2 or 3. 1
kingfox Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 Should be ahead, carved them open a few times, that final pass lacking a bit too. Chilwell's looked unstoppable after I called him shit. Gray has made a few good runs. Mahrez running the game. Sheff Utd defending well though, Jack O'Connell looks a prospect.
pSinatra Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 Chilwell's having a good game because he's not having to defend, but a good game all the same. Sheffield happy to defend all game, but it's not unbeatable. We've had good chances.
Guest Kopfkino Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 Difficult, they're so well organised. Would usually expect Vardy to have put one of those away.
copunk Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 Decent first half, iborra makes everything look effortless, it's a shame we can't play with 3 in the middle as I love silva and ndidi is pretty much cemented starting 11, we slowly look like we are breaking them down, play like.that second half and the goals should come.....hopefully 1
shen Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 I do wonder what Amartey has done wrong since Man United not to be included. Simpson has proven his limitations and hasn't exactly impressed on his return to fitness either... 1
StriderHiryu Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 It's a bit too pedestrian for my liking. I'm a fan of our new style but when we play this slowly it means we get a ton of the ball but don't really work the opposition keeper. Most of our best moments have come from counter attacks although there have been some nice moments from open play too. We've had a lot of the ball today but we've not made too many gilt edged opportunities. That said on another night we could easily have been 2 up by now. But I think this is to be expected as it takes time to get good at possesion football and retain a quick transition. If I was Puel I'd tell the boys to do the same things but to quicken up the pace. More one touch football please. It's also a bit frustrating to see the move break down, usually when Simpson gets the ball. He's been steady and defensively sound, but he always needs an extra touch or two and the opportunity for the killer ball has gone by the time he has done so. Mahrez, Iborra and Chilwell all having good games tonight. Ihenacho looks dangerous but we really struggle to get him involved in the game compared to Shinji. Wouldn't surprise me if Diabate comes on after 60 to replace him.
TheStig Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 Just now, FoxFossil said: Changes? Diabate for Nacho? Yes and Albrighton for Simpson...
Md9 Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 Mahrez playing pretty well done some nice passing. Would like to see silva come on and maybe diabate to see him and mahrez in the same team. Stick Albrighton right back second half as Simpson been forward a bit but can never do anything with it.
RutlanderFox Posted 16 February 2018 Posted 16 February 2018 I have no confidence in Simpson whoever he’s on the ball in an attacking area
