Fantastic for FC Basel on the European stage, the only criticism coming from the home fans is that he's not showed the same compassion in the Swiss Super League. Naturally right-footed, he often plays on the left wing, cutting inside, but can switch to the right also. He's got speed and skill and is still only 23. I've said it before and I'm saying it again - would love us to do a double swoop and get Basel's right-back Michael Lang as part of the same package. What do they need sympathy for? Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 25 March 2018 Share Posted 25 March 2018 Yes, I’ve been following whatever his name for is a very long time, he’s got 2 feet and a head on him, plus a pair of lungs, ideal for us.

davieG Posted 26 April 2018 Share Posted 26 April 2018 Norwegian again linked with Leicester, will he make his move this summer DATE: 19.03.2018 - THE CUNNING FOX - BLOG Mohammed Elyounoussi is again linked with a move to Leicester. The 22 year old Norwegian international is a player with a great potential and not a surprise to see the foxes interested. ShareFacebookTwitterGoogle+ In Norway he is just known as "Moi". He progressed fast in his late teens and established himself in the top tier with Sarpsborg. "Moi" left Sarpsborg in 2104 and joined Molde. In 2016 he got his chance abroad with Basel. Since joining Basel in 2016 he has not looked back. "Moi" has competed against the best at all levels. He shows great confidence and skill. Especially against Man City in the Champions League you could see that he has no fear. He scored a great goal and had one assist at The Etihad. His style would fit Leicester, but "Moi" will not settle for a place on the bench. He can play out wide or just behind the forward. To see a Norwegian linked with Leicester is not happening often, and so far Kjetil Osvold is the only one from this nation to play for the club. It all happened back in 1987, when Osvold played four games coming a short loan from Nottingham Forest. "Moi" looks like a player that would settle fast in the Premier League. Norway have a group of very interesting young prospects all of them selected for the full international squad. The Swede Lars Lagerback, in charge of the Norwegian team, is so far unbeaten at home. "Moi" is a very important player in this team, together with other young prospects such as Celtic's Ajer, Real Madrid's Odegaard and Sorloth, recently signed by Crystal Palace.
