Certainly not the same as he was pre injury ...   and maybe you have a point ..  but harsh to single him out for our crappy performances of late ...   I wouldn’t disagree with you though ...

Is it a case of keeping him in the side to appease the old guard? I know it's not the norm to drop the club captain, but why?

If we played Dragovic from now until the end of the season, would it be enough to make him stay? @Albert what do you think

He should have took a backseat a season a go.

He's a legend and been a great servant to the club but time's catching up with him and whilst he continues to play poor, make mistakes and cost us that will tarnish opinions of him.

Let me pick up on something that was posted last week regarding Morgan:

On 03/04/2018 at 20:15, Abrasive fox said:

Also told the club in the summer that he'd leave if they signed another centre half after Maguire and he wasn't still first choice.

I'm not sure if Abrasive Fox is in 'ITK' but if this is true, I find that deeply concerning on many counts.

Time to retire?

34, slow, no technical footballing ability and also starting to look fat and lumbering.

Have we blown it with Drago? If we hadn't dropped him after his 5 clean sheets I think we might be in a better position...

Thanks for everything Wes, you've been a diamond. But all good things MUST come to an end.

Maybe not retire but I think if we’ve got serious aspirations of remaining in the top half of the PL we now need better than he currently is. Well, better than he currently is if he’s going to be captain and first and first name on the team sheet every week.  At the risk of sounding like a broken record I’ve Been saying this for months.

You are starting to sound like a broken record.

We were far better defensively with Dragovic in the side, but it was obvious he was going to be dropped as soon as Morgan returned.

I absolutely love this guy, and I always will. But we need to evolve and there's no room for sentiment in football.

This. Morgan has been a class act, a true servant and a cornerstone of our greatest moment in history. But he's not fit for now - with Dragovic ready to play, I don't see any reason he should be a regular.

There's every possibility we could lose Maguire in the Summer.

Huth might be finished.

Drago might leave.

Then we'll be up to our necks in bob.

Be careful what you wish for.

What, wanting improvment in our defence for 2 seasons now? :dunno:

How is this only just becoming apparent to some people? How is the club and it's recruitment being ran so badly?!

We appear to be one or two players away from having a decent squad next season.  Mind you, one or two players leaving from those we don't wish to let go and we're looking over our shoulders for the majority of next season imo.

It is very, very finely balanced now.  We can't rely on Morgan or others in the old guard to paper over the cracks.

It could go either way imo.

That's not what I said.

I think binning Wes  when his form might return, and our other options are diminishing, might not be the best idea.

Players know themselves when their time is up. Morgan, great servant but please don't spoil it all by attempting to go on and on and on. Having said that there are a number of players on the books who have had their day at Leicester. Time to say "Thank you and Goodbye"!!

He is finished and the way he walked off at the end of the game I think he realises it too.

Thought the same, looked dejected.
