It's effectively match fixing.

It really isn’t I don't know, on the face of it you'd say yeah it's not much, but what if the player had put a bet on himself to get a card that game? It is game manipulation which ever way you look at it, referees should just do their bloody job and referee fairly. That's all we want, for the game to be fair.

It really isn’t It's a form of it. It's also proof, alongside what Clattenburg said a while ago that you can't entirely trust the officiating.

Players are forbidden from betting on any football are you saying that a player who boots the ball away from a free kick decision shouldn’t need be yellow carded?
