Spurs have made a request to the P.L. to play their first three home games at Wembley.

Even though the league rules state that teams have to play all seasons home games at the same

stadium, the league have capitulated and granted Spurs request.

They have only requested that the home game against Fulham is played at Wembley which the premier league has allowed

thier first game at the new stadium  should be Liverpool after the international break middle of September

Mark Halsey admits to booking a player who had asked to be booked so he served his suspension before a local derby.

Really wouldn't surprise if in a few years time we here of a certain Mr Moss admitting to a bit of spot fixing.

Didn’t read through it much but just something to do with a battery. Probably dumped it somewhere. Should get off with a fine I’d have thought.

Not sure if that is meant to be a jokey type comment - he hit a lady in the face allegedly!

Laughable how little is made of stuff like this. It's effectively match fixing.

Halsey bigging himself up

It’s not tough to get a yellow card ..... this is making what is effectively a bit of banter into an incident

match fixing?  It really isn’t

I don't know, on the face of it you'd say yeah it's not much, but what if the player had put a bet on himself to get a card that game?

It is game manipulation which ever way you look at it, referees should just do their bloody job and referee fairly. That's all we want, for the game to be fair.

It's a form of it. It's also proof, alongside what Clattenburg said a while ago that you can't entirely trust the officiating.

Players are forbidden from betting on any football

are you saying that a player who boots the ball away from a free kick decision shouldn’t need be yellow carded?

Yes they’re forbidden but it still happens

Yes he should be carded but he shouldn’t have arranged with the referee how to get carded

And we only have the referees version of what could have just been what the player would consider general banter.
