goose2010 Posted 20 June 2018 Share Posted 20 June 2018 Horrible draw its still about a 6 hour journey for them and they end up in the arse end of nowhere in Scotland, Aberdeen are a decent team as well it won't be easy.
The Doctor Posted 20 June 2018 Share Posted 20 June 2018 Burnleh first qualified for Europe since the English channel formed - sunny Mediterranean side in mid July, trip east of the Berlin wall? No, you get to go to the most grey city in northern Scotland.
AKCJ Posted 20 June 2018 Share Posted 20 June 2018 Burnley Imagine that. Could have gone to so many wonderful places and they get to go to somewhere that's worse than Burnley.
Popular Post AKCJ Posted 20 June 2018 Popular Post Share Posted 20 June 2018 Just seen an Aberdeen fan on Reddit put "Burnley fans complaining about an away day to Aberdeen as if we’ve not got to go to ****ing Burnley" hahahahaha
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 20 June 2018 Share Posted 20 June 2018 Just trying to imagine the look on the faces of the Burnley fans after going to the trouble of renewing their passports and buying a job lot of suntan lotion from Poundstretcher. Nalis Posted 20 June 2018 Share Posted 20 June 2018 Not saying this to be mean but as a town/city, Aberdeen has a lot more going for it than Burnley.

Oil industry uses it as an access point for the north sea so jobs and money, hard for Burnley to beat it.

ithuriel Posted 20 June 2018 Share Posted 20 June 2018 Kind of feel for Burnley fans a little, you get a chance at Europe and a little excitement and it ends up being Aberdeen. Reminds me, I will have to reread my Champions league programmes
Vlad the Fox Posted 20 June 2018 Share Posted 20 June 2018 I wouldn't have minded a trip to Aberdeen, and let's face it, for a qualifier do you really want to be traveling right out to Eastern Europe or even an expensive trip to Central Europe, save that for when the competition really starts. Easy to get to, local, won't disrupt pre season too much. I'd be happy with Aberdeen.

One minute People on here saying how shit Celtic are and how there division is the equivalent to league 1, and if Leicester were in there league we would walk it, the next Aberdeen are no mugs and might beat Burnley!!! ??, NO Aberdeen ARE shit, the only way Aberdeen beat Burnley, is if Burnley, are not interested in the competition,!! A Burnley team who take the competition seriously will beat Aberdeen quite easy tbf!!! Come on England

Ian Nacho Posted 21 June 2018 Share Posted 21 June 2018 To be fair, if Burnley get through it's a cracking draw. Always good to play a British team but they'll obviously want to go overseas.
