He sells his capabilities and another sees fit to pay for it… Fans even media or podcast pundits have no right to dictate others wages.. If you hadn’t noticed this is the capitalist, democratic country the UK. I bet you want to collect your pennies for your work & wont send it back, because Dave thinks there should be a ceiling for……XYZ.. What on earth you going on about? We have every right to question the wage structure at this club, it put us in a position where we had no financial flexibility to move players on and bring players in to the point we declined and got relegation. 6

I can just imagine Rodgers trying to curry and buy favour and adding a few tens of thousands a week on. He’s got the classic buying loyalty feel about him - and that ends eventually in a lack of respect among a group when the penny drops… I don't think managers have too much involvement but I might be wrong. I suspect they'd be more involved if a deal was stalling or negotiations for a new contract were and their desire for it to happen needed to be spelt out. Rodgers did boast though, his excellence led to the majority of the squad getting increased wages through the success they achieved. 1

So Choudhurys wages are unacceptable, because you don’t rate him. This is where I question the right…others for our clubs standard, rate him.And accept balances have to be found. Like all collective products, you skimp on the costs, you start to lose alround quality. And Choudhurys position and price being payed, ain’t going to break the bank.. 1 1

Technically he's very good but he doesnt have the positioning. He is usually out of the game because he doesnt understand where to stand to receive the ball and he doesnt anticipate what the opposition are going to do with the ball so he rarely provides any resistance to opposition attacks. Praet running down his contract is a good deal for us. At least Choudhury knows the basics of making himself available to receive a pass and is good at intercepting passes. 1

I think in the Premier League that you're meant to have 4 players that were at the club for a certain amount of time between 15 and 21. Might be an old rule or me being wrong, though. Edit: I think it's a rule that only applies for European competition, not Premier League. Therefore, irrelevant right now. Edited 14 September 2023 by pmcla26
Popular Post Jordan Posted 20 September 2023 Popular Post Posted 20 September 2023 That play in the 2nd half when Norwich were counterattacking and Hamza saw he was out of Graham Scott’s view so he just hauled down whoever he was tracking (I forgot who) was absolutely outstanding. That’s the Hamza Choudhury we know and love. 11 2
Popular Post SecretPro Posted 20 September 2023 Popular Post Posted 20 September 2023 Enzo put his faith in Hamza and Hamza repaid it diligently. What more can you ask of a player? 7
Popular Post South Shire Fox Posted 20 September 2023 Popular Post Posted 20 September 2023 One of our best players tonight imo. Might not be the best technical player but hes superb off the ball in his workrate and tenaciousness. Very good player to have in this squad 5

He’s improved a lot from the Hamza who broke into the first team. Seems to have matured too. I’m not saying he’s the best don’t get me wrong. 1
Thebluefox85 Posted 21 September 2023 Posted 21 September 2023 Hazma was prime iniesta last night! He was everywhere and got their top scorer subbed at half time says it all
eblair Posted 21 September 2023 Posted 21 September 2023 Hamza without VAR is a different threat In all seriousness I like him but not sure he is good enough to play the inverted right back role 1
moseeds Posted 21 September 2023 Posted 21 September 2023 Milestone game. Local lad. Mixed heritage. Captain. Committed. So proud to be Leicester fan last night.
Popular Post JimJams Posted 21 September 2023 Popular Post Posted 21 September 2023 Put bluntly, we didn't miss Riccy last night which is a good indictment of Hamzas performance. 7
Dahnsouff Posted 21 September 2023 Posted 21 September 2023 He did well, and as @JimJams points out, we were not crying out for Ricky all over the match thread and that is a significant endorsement of the lad
Nolucklcfc Posted 21 September 2023 Posted 21 September 2023 Just let enzo work with him and he’ll become inesta in no time
Fox92 Posted 21 September 2023 Posted 21 September 2023 He was good last night. Very good. As I said in the ratings thread, all of the defence were very good.

No but times 35 it nearly did. Look at the fecking mess we are in because of ridiculous wages being paid out on shite players and to a cvnt of a manager. 1
Popular Post brookfox Posted 21 September 2023 Popular Post Posted 21 September 2023 Interesting comments from Enzo about him getting the captaincy. Basically said he'd challenged him to step up and be a leader and no longer an academy product who plays for the first team. I don't think given his pedigree there were doubts about Enzo's capability as a coach or as a tactician, it was all down to his man management and if he could take that step from Peps #2 to the gaffer himself. Little things like this suggest he might just be destined for the top. As for Hamza, really pleased for him. Another player that Enzo has taken a shine to and got him looking more than competent. 6
Guest nathan. Posted 21 September 2023 Posted 21 September 2023 I forgot how quick he was. Best performance for us last night.
dnewty Posted 21 September 2023 Posted 21 September 2023 Great display from Hanza last night, he looked fired up and was good on the ball.

You know, and I say this as a complete fanboy of Ricky, I ain't been overimpressed with him in this role. He's been robbed in midfield at least once every game so far. I like Hamza. His pace, his edge, and a hint of arrogance that good players possess 2

He's very technically gifted so I understand why he's in that role but him marauding down the flank and underlapping (which brings him infield) is where he's best. Having said that, definitely not as quick or sharp as he was pre injury(s) so maybe that's not his game anymore. Almost forgot about Hamza which is probably a measure of how well he played. Some fantastic tackles in the first half.
