I would keep hold of him but possibly send him out on loan so he's playing regularly. He'll only get better in the next few years but he desperately needs game time

Not personally but not garbage either .......genuine insight but don’t care if you believe it or not.......

Genuine insight of your own or because you know someone inside the club?

I was a huge fan of Gray, I'd love to see him develop here, but I think he's losing a lot of goodwill in some of the appearances he's made and had little impact on the game and also his perceived bad attitude.

I think he either needs to go out on loan to somewhere like Bournemouth or Huddersfield where hopefully he would get regular playing experience, then go from there. If he hasn't improved from that, I don't think he will have the quality to improve us, so let him go.

It will mean investing in 2 wingers this summer to cover for both Mahrez and Gray, be a risk, but could be worth it in the long run.

From an ex-player who is a very good friend and also close to a first team coach

Sell.

Pic or another excuse to bin him?..

....Sell!!

He is at a cross-road at the moment, of which he is ineffective on the left and would need to supply the forwards if put on the right which is not the first thing he thinks about.

We, or any future club, need to change his mindset, as to how he can add value to the team. Manchester United use Ashley Young as a fullback/ wing back and that seems to have worked out well, for the player and also the club. Employing Gray in that position might just be what he  requires in order to fulfill the potential that he clearly has and the ability to see a situation and supply the pass to put someone through needs to be learned.

There has been little or no  improvement from Gray this season and the constant poor decisions might be negated by a complete rethink of the way he plays and his relation to the other players on the pitch.

Ashley Cole started off as a winger, it is not too far fetched that Gray could convert to a attacking defensive role. If Gray had been at Ajax he would have gone through the program (or at least they used to) play players in all the positions so that they are aware of what is required in that position, we may have saved a good three or four seasons and had Gray in the correct position for him and saved him the anguish of playing in a role he is unable to  affect the team due to his role in it.

Season loan to another premier league club like Cardiff or wolves Fulham/villa.

selling Gray could be our biggest mistake i think he will be a very good player in time couple more years could be outstanding.

getting him plenty of game time at a club that would guarantee it could be best for both party's but HE SHOULD NOT BE SOLD!

I'd prefer to loan him out to another EPL outfit then if he shines there his price will go up in a full on transfer and if he doesn't then it'll confirm he isn't really progressing beyond a decent sub player.

Scary to think what his potential is, not sure we're the club for him to realise it (look at Kramaric, Kane and Lingard).

I think if/when Mahrez goes we'll see him improve.

It a tough one, it depend on what offers we get, anywhere near the rumoured 20 million offer from Bournemouth last year, sell.

If it for 5-10 million, I think loan out to a Cardiff or another promoted team

gray plays on the left though? Why would Mahrez leaving see Gray improve?

because everything has to go through mahrez, every ball is specifically aimed at him if you haven't noticed.

I understand that. But i would expect us to go out and sign some wingers/attacking midfielders so Gray will still find himself in the same position - a sub/impact player. When Gray does revcieve the ball he needs to do better anyway, he mainly just lays it off easy & his off the ball movement is poor also (he always comes towards the ball and rarely turns and runs into the space in behind utilising his pace and making the full back think. I'd like to see him take more responsibility aswell, Diabate may not have end product yet but he's always on the move, looking for space and when he gets the ball he either runs at his man, or passes it within 1 or 2 touches and then runs into space making himself available. Everything Diabate does seems to have a purpose,  I don't see this when I watch gray unfortunately

I hope that the team sets up quite differently next season and consequently the players with potential get a bit of a clean slate with some new direction

Fingers crossed players who have been a tad lost like Gray will benefit from a commitment to a new style and a breath of fresh air should go through this team
