Guest Manini Posted 1 May 2019 Posted 1 May 2019 They’ve done well there. In stoppage time for the cliche we were all waiting for
Innovindil Posted 1 May 2019 Posted 1 May 2019 A shame imo. Pool have probably given barca the toughest game they've had all season and it's been fine margins between a 3-0 whooping and a very good result away.
Finnegan Posted 1 May 2019 Posted 1 May 2019 Oh Dembele you absolute plonker. Danny Simpson would have finished that.
yorkie1999 Posted 1 May 2019 Posted 1 May 2019 That’s what happens when you shove old blokes in a fountain

st albans fox Posted 1 May 2019 Posted 1 May 2019 liverpool committed footballing suicide chasing an away goal ..... I was stating the bleeding obvious during the second half but surprised that klopp was quite so naive ......
Finnegan Posted 1 May 2019 Posted 1 May 2019 Just now, Vacamion said: How did he not score that? Needed to borrow some of Donny van de Beeks spare composure.

That's mental There's stat knocking around that if you count Messi and Ronaldo's goals each in the champions league alone, their individual tallies would be the better than all but 18/19 of all time premier league scorers. Even more incredible seeing as you'd can only play a maximum of 13 games a season in the champions league(if you qualify for the group stage automatically) vs 38 games in the premier league
trabuch Posted 1 May 2019 Posted 1 May 2019 I feel a bit sorry for Liverpool - but if you don't take your chances etc..
Winchesterfox Posted 1 May 2019 Posted 1 May 2019 What a great match. No disgrace losing to that team, although if Salah had got that sitter it would have made the second leg more interesting.
RowlattsFox Posted 1 May 2019 Posted 1 May 2019 Hope Barca don't regret wasting them opportunities for the 4th. Part of me thinks Liverpool still have a chance but it will take something special. They are capable of going gung ho early on and getting the first goal then you never know. Difficult to not concede though.

StanSP Posted 1 May 2019 Posted 1 May 2019 I don't think this tie is over (as much as I'd want it to be). Liverpool can be ridiculously clinical at home especially when Firmino will be starting no doubt and their front 3 is back to normal. Barca fluffed a similar lead against Roma last season so I'm hoping they've learnt from that. It's a strong lead (that could have been made stronger if it wasn't for Dembele releasing his inner Akinbiyi) but if they get a goal at Anfield that will give me a bit more confidence.

Klopp has always played football the Kevin keegan way, you score 2 and we’ll score 3, and then he comes up against a side like barcalona...
