Always came up with important goals and although the last 18 months or so have not been great for him here he will always be one of my favourite players.

The last two years may have watered down his reputation here but let's not forget his goals in the great escape season (albeit most were in the patchy period where we got in a position that needed escaping from) and his cameo roles in the title win including that cooly taken penalty. Rumours are the team is Pachuca. Will be watching out for Leo in the various random Liga MX games I tend to watch. He certainly did his part for us. Oddly one of my biggest memories of him was when he destroyed us playing for Brighton (I think we’d already got promoted tho).

Yes it is a slight worry for me as well.

 

If Slimani leaves then our only strikers will be Vardy, Iheanacho and Okazaki.

 

None of them provides much of an aerial threat at all.

Fantastic player for us over the years.  Cant fault him for wanting to leave before as he wanted play time. Stuck with it regardless and gave his best always.

A huge part of our story. It doesn't seem that way as it's been downhill since 2016 but he fairly repaid his transfer fee and then some over 2 seasons. His goals were crucial at different stages from 2014 to 2016.
