Puel will sink or swim by his selections.  If he persists with the old guard and has at his disposal and great cost, better options, then he can hardly be surprised when he is sent to the guillotine if we are subjected to a defensive train crash over the next games.

 

Benkovic has CL experience and Dinamo Zagreb are not a Pub Team playing in the Beazer Homes League. Charley is a Turkish International with Bundesliga experience. 

 

They should therefore both be ready to start in a very short time.  Geremin.

He seems to dive in a lot, I'm not sure that's a good idea in the Premiership. I suspect he could make the bench today and maybe come on if were winning easily.

Expect to see Maguire and Evens today and a more solid defense with Periera and Chilwell. and Albrighton and Gray in the wide positions.

... just going from the YouTube video, I do not know how he has got away with those tackles. Just hope the PL is as lenient. 

 With the overload of CB's a move to a back 3 would perhaps resolve the dilemma Puel has created in respect of keeping a happy crew. A back five would allow him to play Ricardo in a more attacking role with perhaps, Choudhury, Wilf and Madders in midfield.
