Pleased to see Albrighton come in on the right with Ricardo dropping back into a natural position. Harsh on Iheanacho, whom I thought had a decent game at Old Trafford, but inevitable that Vardy goes in. I'm fine with Evans for Morgan.

 

Mendy in is very radical although its safe to say we've never seen anything close to what he's capable of producing. I hope for his sake he has a good game. Good lineup on the whole, lets go boys!

Decent picks. Bench is a bit pointless though. Would fuchs or morgan kick off if they were dropped completely? Not many teams need a rb cb and lb on the bench.

In the first Villach friendly, all be it against lesser opposition, Mendy looked neat and tidy.  I do believe there is something in him worth persevering with.

It would be great if Mendy has a good game and proves himself. Looking at recent pics of him he looks leaner than I remember from his 1 or previous appearances.
