Get the pace and composure of Soyuncu in and see if we're better for it. I'd be inclined to try Silva or Iborra for Mendy. Albrighton for Gray. PLEASE. If you’re considering mixing up CM Ndidi would drop out for me. He’s been rubbish this season. 1
foxfanazer Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 We won the league a few years ago so anything less than a 6-0 win and I’ll be fuming 1
reynard Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 (edited) Last season we struggled against them but then Slimani turned up and changed the game. Mainly by using his physicality, something we lack now. Mahrez also played a blinder that day if I recall. We badly miss him. In the context of the first half of the season this is a massive game and one we simply need to win. we are way way off being a top 6 or 7 team so getting points on the board in any way is what matters now. Personally I suspect it will end up 1-1. Can't see us not conceding that's for sure. First goal will be important. Edited 17 September 2018 by reynard

I agree... Nay to gifting them a ? though 4
rachhere Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 Ah, it will be fine. Comfortable win for us, and hopefully a chance for Vardy to get rid of some rustiness. Interesting balancing act in terms of the team though with the Wolves cup game so soon afterwards.
Hanan96 Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 Maguire need rest. He's deemed unfit for man utd match but played anyway. He continues to play every match even after last international stages. The Bournemouth match should be the one puel recognize this. With morgan getting suspended, putting evans and soyuncu is too risky since both, especially evans aren't match fit and yet to gel with the team. We need 3 in the back. I'll go with this Kasper Amartey, Evans, soyuncu Ricardo, mendy, ndidi, chilwell Madison, ghezzal Vardy Ghezzal in free role. Otherwise since puel didn't like 3 back, amartey can be the right back while Ricardo as right wing. But this isn't good things 1

nettle Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 We should win this watched Huddersfield v Crystal Palace on Saturday with my father in law whose a season ticket holder at Huddersfield and they were both shight. Nothing to fear from them they are impotent up front and that's my only worry we seem to help teams break scoring and losing habits.

Surely the ref will stop play as they did with the squirrel at QPR. The head groundsman will be pissed off as well. 3

Well let's Puel is shouting from the sidelines and getting a little hoarse to stop this happening! 1
Manwell Pablo Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 (edited) three points minimum requirement really. Especially after last week. They are quite bad, and they have Hamer in goal. Edited 17 September 2018 by Manwell Pablo
Guest Col city fan Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 Lose against these, at home, and FT will go into meltdown. They are rubbish this season.

davieG Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 I'd consider playing Evans & Soyuncu and give Maguire the week off he looks knackered. 4
Popular Post Babylon Posted 17 September 2018 Popular Post Posted 17 September 2018 We need some pace at CB, not having the slating of Wes like everything is his fault when others are just as culpable. But we can't play attacking full backs with Maguire and Wes as they are just too slow. I'm sure Evans will come in, but I'd be tempted to throw in Soyuncu to try and attempt to fix that issue. I'd also bring in Albrighton for Gray, who frankly doesn't seem up to it unless he's playing against lower league opposition. 5

Seems mental. X

Walker and Stones at City was back the week before him for the Charity Shield. Not sure if he's tired or just out of form. He looked fine against Wolves and Southampton.
RumbleFox Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 For what is is worth I would go..... Kasper Ricardo Maguire Evans Chilwell Mendy Silva Ghezzal Maddison Albrighton Vardy 1

AKCJ Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 As much as I want us to go with 3-5-2 in the long run, I think we're best continuing with a 4-2-3-1 against Huddersfield. They have next to no pace in their side, they won't be able to get into the space Chilwell and Pereira create when going forward. Schmeichel Ricardo Evans Maguire Chilwell Ndidi MEndy Ghezzal Maddison Gray Vardy We need to beat these and do it with a bit of a swagger.
Matt Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 Puels first name on the team sheet is Morg....oh no!
