Could they be any worse than our defence against a bunch of Cherries? You'd rather play Fuchs (whose head is in america and legs in the infirmary) or Elder over Chilwell? smh You want to play Benny? smh I guess you're just taking the piss out of the majority of posters aren't you? As for other people's suggestions, I can't see Amartey playing as a CB but he could easily play CB well and he has the pace which we lack. Jonny really has looked disappointing and I don't want him replacing Wes. Soyuncu should probably get the start and we see what he's worth. If Maguire is tired, he needs to look for another job. Really no-one should be tired yet in the season. They haven't played many minutes yet. Ghezzal should not be dropped. He's been consistently one of our better players. Albrighton could well come in - but he'd need to replace Gray in the lineup. We are too good for these and nothing short of 3 points is acceptable. 9 from our first 6 games - considering who and where we've played - is good enough and on the 7th to 10th.

kingfox Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 Must win. A formation change would be ideal but can't see it happening. Play the same formation then of course we need a few adjustments. Schmeichel Amartey/Simmo - Soyuncu - Maguire - Chilwell Ricardo - Ndidi - Mendy - Albrighton Maddison Vardy Subs - Ward, Evans, Fuchs, Silva, Ghezzal, Gray, Iheanacho

Crosses into the box have so far being easily dealt with as well with just Vardy to worry about up there. Iheanacho would add another player in the box trying to get on the end of them. You know what my suggestion is... 3-5-2 Even I'm bored of hearing me say it! 1

Well, thanks for that; I learned something. Apparently I can laugh, cry and puke at the same time. 1 1

Not dropping, rotating. He hasn't looked his best even though I agree, he is our best midfielder. I just think we should try somebody with slightly more "creativity" and, on form, Mendy probably deserves to keep his place. X
Silebyfox_89 Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 personally i would go for... 3-1-4-2 Kasper Amartey /Evans/ Maguire Ndidi Ricardo/Maddison/Silva/Chilly Nacho/Vardy
RonnieTodger Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 I don't think we'll ever see the 3-4-1-2, sadly.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 I always worry when we play the awful teams. An uninspiring draw for me.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 With the number of years we've now had in the Premier League and the amount of money we've spent, anything other than a win at home to Huddersfield is unacceptable. Puel needs to set up an attacking team to win and win well to make the statement he's up to this. A lucky undeserved win a la Wolves, or draw or even loss with rightly put him under pressure as we should be pissing these sort of games, especially as former PL champions. 2 1

So a big win is going to turn people's opinions of him? Can't understand these comments such as a defeat will put him under pressure. He's been under pressure for six months.

We need to see signs of some improvement and consistency in performances and some solidity to his time here. starting to regularly put away sides we should be beating at home would be a good place to start doing that Edited 17 September 2018 by Arriba Los Zorros

norwichfox Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 Sort of pleased that Wes found a way of dropping himself, I'm fully confident we'll have better stat's than Huddersfield on every aspect...except goals scored.
Ian Nacho Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 These are garbage, especially away. We'll win.
lgfualol Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 I dont think we can score many. If Vardy plays up top alone he will have no space and therefore do nothing. If only we had a big bloke for the inevitable parked bus.
The Doctor Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 If Soyuncu isn't ready then Amartey in for Morgan (Darnell Johnson as an alternative) but I'd hope he's about ready to be eased in.
Dr The Singh Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 Is this match worth paying for £15 WiFi on a flight?
fuchsntf Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 If we lose...I won't bother reading post match thread, stay of the football side of the forum.. We draw...depends how.. We win...just a lot of posts..saying,nothing but what is expected, and no credit..for anyone... 1 1
CosbehFox Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 We will win. 2 or 3 nil. They have scored three goals in their last ten PL games. Wont be champagne in a way as Huddersfield away from home are so utterly negative.
Ric Flair Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 It took a sublime bit of skill from Mahrez to open these up last season, I'd not be surprised to see us frustrated once again. Heaven forbid if they take the lead as well. I'd take any sort of win as we're revolting at the minute. 2

Farrington fox Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 The way we’re playing at present I wouldn’t bet against any fvcker beating us, except maybe Fleetwood. We’re too lapse at the back, and sqander chances all to often.
st albans fox Posted 17 September 2018 Posted 17 September 2018 Many are proposing an even more attacking line up than did for us on Saturday - playing three at the back 3-5-2 allows you to have two up top and keep three in the middle of midfield to avoid being outnumbered in that area if Maddison is one of the three then you are going to risk being out fought in that area at home to Huddersfield we should be playing the same line up as against Liverpool but with vardy for gray and evans for Morgan. That means a rest for gray. We should have enough guile and creativity without risking being caught too open for a counter attack sucker punch
