Lads for weeks we have been messing around passing sideways at zero mph very few chances  and today we saw some solid urgent football that we know we have  the players to implement.Could be a decent season after a average start

You can see why the ref gave it but for me it's harsh. If one of our players did that I'd be disappointed.

Haven't seen it since the game, but from what I've read he went for it with 2 feet and you risk it these days the minute you do that

But it was an un-Puel like performance. There's nothing wrong with pointing that out and people SHOULDN'T be happy with our recent showings.

By the same token, I could just as well point out that Puel (or whoever the manager is, let's be honest, it's not unique to CP it's just this weird forum) could drown a bag full of kittens, beat up a tramp and personally run on the pitch to score an own goal and there'd still be people on here saying he should be given more time because he's playing young players.

Today was a huge improvement, it was a good performance and I hope we keep it up and really kick on from here. Puel got his tactics and selection spot on today and deserves a lot of credit for getting us through the Cup game and then winning today with bags of energy.

But we've been here before with strong showings in games and in the subsequent weeks he's made a basket of unnecessary changes and we've been bobbins again.

So let's just be measured about it, say yeah, today was terrific and we all hope for more of the same but at the same time, if people still have reservations they're totally justified.

Well said that man, spot on!

Agree with pretty much all of this. I’ve no problem with people still having reservations about Puel as long as they’re balanced and considered. But you’ve also got to give credit where it’s due

Good win, time to kick on or today means nothing

He just stamped on the ball. Got absolutely none of the man.

There's an equally weird section of foxestalk that would see Puel win the champions league final ten nil against Barcelona and still want him sacked because he picked Demarai Gray. I mean this place just attracts the weirdest people.

But the one half spamming the other half with roll eye emojis after every result will never cease to be annoying and dull. You know they're going to get egg on their face the very next game when our fortunes change.

Never a red for Capoue. Got the ball.

You do know Nacho, that regardless of getting the ball a dangerous tackle is a bookable  offence  ?? ...   and going in and flattening the player with both feet is a dangerous tackle ??? .....      you do know that ?? ...   you must know it ???    ...   go on surely you knew that !! ...   didn’t you ???

Glad we won, still lots to improve on.  First half was good, second was meh.

The thing that got us the win was the clean sheet, I felt should Watford had scored they would go onto get a second.

Vardy was the real difference between the teams for me.

Roll on Wednesday

Good evening dr doom can’t you just enjoy the day without Puel out undertones

You got a video of it? Because live it looked two footed and out of control, in which case getting the ball doesn't matter, it's a dangerous challenge

Those who want Puel Out are not wrong to do so just because of one performance/result. People shouldn't be ridiculed for an opinion formed over months rather than on the basis of one display.

Got to say mate, you could quite easily reverse that last sentence.

Not everybody in favour of Puel is basing it on one display. I'm basing it over the entirety of his tenure and I'm starting to feel like his methods, patience and persistence with our young players is starting to pay off.

I've been shouting patience for months and I'm going to enjoy every win we get because I feel like I've earned it with my belief and support through the transitional period.

Of course the Puel out crew are going to ask for more good results - god forbid they might have to back down and accept that we're improving, heading in the right direction and SEVENTH in the league.
