Great to see us move the ball forward quicker today. Albrighton and Mendy looked forward much quicker than recent matches and it made it much more exciting to watch

They found some proper space in our box. Grey missed two guilt edge chances 2nd half.

The defenders ensured he didn’t have a clear chance, call it what you like they weren’t clear cut ... he was bossed out... great defence today ... seems we have it sorted

Thankfully the defenders did their job, how many saves did Kasper make?

Officially 0, but I swear he had to save from Ricardo's pass/shot in the first half?

Difficult to have too many complaints really - seventh or eighth in the table at the end of the day, unbeaten in five, win and clean sheet at home, one incredible team goal. We were a bit fortunate second half and a better team than Watford might well have punished us, but did Schmeichel actually have a save to make?

Tad fortunate given all the Hornets chances. But that's football. We got our noses in front an grinded it out.

Good for morale.

They had eight chances. None on target.

7th in the league won't be enough to stop the whingeing I'm sure.  The Puel outers whine about possession football with no quick attacks, today they got counter-attacking football with results and I'm sure they'll complain about that too.

To be where we are in the table while modernizing our style and transitioning from a fading and old team to the second-youngest starting 11 in the PL is a testament to the job Puel is doing.  It's just a shame so many supporters seem happier bitching non-stop than appreciating real progress.

correct! theyl will be  scrutinising his

post match interview, with a view to saying things like I don't like his slow voice, or something. then go ahhh I found a moan, now life is better again.

Not going to change my opinion on one game, but it was much better today. First half especially. Lucky not to concede, their finishing was astrocious. But much better to watch than last 2-3 months...

Mendy looks a different player!

It's been a while since we won at home, so can't complain much but you have to admit Watford made it easier for us. The first half was good. Two goals, clean sheet. Madders... What a comeback, what a goal! Take a bow lad.

We need more wins to hang on to this 7th place though. Next game will be Claude vs Claudio duel!

:ranieri::claude:Exciting! :scarf:

Thought was one of Pereiras best games for us going forward and vital tackles and blocks at times.

specially second half.

Mendys looking more comfortable in the Cm role, and playing better than Ndidi, who is getting frustrating as he wins the ball back and gives it away to easily with sloppy poor passing (he really does need to work in that area of his game)

Mostly 7/8’s all round

7th in the league, and just one point behind 6th. Let's go for that in the end.

Not good enough for some on here, QF of the league cup too... have they forget the whole of last decade

Was that Puel Plan B? Was it that we couldn't get enough possession to instigate Plan A? Or has Puel gone back to basics?

I dunno but that was like days of old; backs to the wall defending and counter attack. Personally, I reckon Watford can count themselves unlucky as, but for crap finishing, they could have been on even terms, if not snuck it. We certainly rode our luck.

But the difference was in the finishing and Madison took our chance with fine skill. Ricardo was immense, Albrighton tireless, Ndidi hit and miss, Morgan was as Morgan does, Vardy was a menace. Real throwback stuff.

We looked good at the back (without Maguire stepping out, indeed anyone stepping out) Great to see Soyuncu being introduced (and trusted)

Overall I'm pleased; toughed out a deserved win. But I am left wondering what Puel was thinking. What he thought. Did that go to plan?

Glad we won, still lots to improve on.  First half was good, second was meh.

The thing that got us the win was the clean sheet, I felt should Watford had scored they would go onto get a second.

Vardy was the real difference between the teams for me.

Roll on Wednesday
