Tuna Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 Has he retired now? Sure he could do a job for someone fitness permitting.

StanSP Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 Glad he was asked about the Arsenal team selfie/the comments after we lost that game in Feb. And the response is superb - sports psychology and mentality is huge. You use that kind of shit as extra motivation. That's what spurred us on. All the negative part of the media frenzy only fueled our success. And the bits about Wes being a big character, calm and collected in the dressing room, never shouting. True sign of a great captain and role model. Not stressing or panicking but keeping a cool head.
Ric Flair Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 Hahahaa he's absolutely nailed it about Spurs. Have that you complete piss ants.

Love to see a photo of it with the caption "Arsenal hand Leicester the title"
Fox92 Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 Loved it. The reaction to Spurs "We can't let them win it". Said it before but people bang on about Cambiasso but the Huth signing was massive for us.
StriderHiryu Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 Thanks for sharing @UpTheLeagueFox! Great to hear about all of the anecdotes. "Watching N'golo highlights for 30 minutes" near the end of the video made me laugh out loud!
BenTheFox Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 In the top 5 best signings we ever made, without any shadow of a doubt.
HighPeakFox Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 Clearly a very switched on guy - absolute hero.
SystonFox Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 Without a doubt a legend. ”and if you’ve just joined us, we are 3-0 up and Huth is on a hat trick” ?
Max Wall Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 Great video. 'Keep Kante in the middle, it makes everyone's life easier.'
UniFox21 Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 One thing that jumped out to me was the "arrogance" of Spurs. Top sports players do need that arrogance, but it was as if they felt they should be winning because of who they were. It's one thing we fully had over them, no one expected us to be there and we were giving it up for no one.
Hammo Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 This is brilliant. We are going to have The Title Win reminisced about like this by those who were involved for ever more. And as the years pass, the legend will only get stronger. I can't get enough of it...
Paninistickers Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 On a side note, how refreshing to hear Keyesy and Gray again. And no, I ain't being sarky. I always loved them. And their 'crime' was hardly Harvey Weinstein stuff.

Perhaps I wasn't listening carefully, but he seemed to mention the press speaking on their behalf as much as Spurs themselves.

The other thing I love about this (and I think Huth alluded to it, too) was that other teams wanted us to win it, as well. I remember Cesc Fabregas saying he really wants Leicester to win it, not just because of his Arsenal/Chelsea connections but just because he preferred us over Spurs.

That all of that was a big push forwards for them. Also, he really mentioned how much of a calming influence Wes is in the dressing room.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 What a masterstroke signing he was. Absolutely pivotal to everything. No way would we have stayed up without him, and those vital goals at Spurs and Man City the following season. I’m running out of superlatives.
