How exactly do you add creativity against this lot. How do you attack without a decent focal point because without Vardy we haven't got one. Maddison despite one blinding goal has been largely piss poor. In fairness he's a kid learning his trade and at this level, to some degree has been found out and is lightweight. He will go on to be an excellent player though with a bit of patience.

Good point. Sorry. I take it back.

Don't bring Maddison on. Let's take Gray, Iheanacho and Ghezzal off and bring on some more defenders.

By the way all posters going on the negative....are really, really slow....

We!!?  Don't have a first,or better team!! Their is no bad or good selection..The whole squad, haven't yet produced any results, where we can

Go on hate campaingns like screaming banshis!!?   We have no grouping, that has shown they could/might beat M.city....

If so..please every single one of you post the better team you have in mind!!!   Then we can see even between you there will be differences, and laughable selections.....

Its not always the team its formation he makes them play.

Set-pieces are crap, Iheanacho just isn't working up front. Choudhury and Fuchs have done well.

Maddison and Okazaki on for the second half.

The issue is they have got a great squad, any side they put out is a strong one.

This was always going to be a game were we had to stay in it.

For all there possession they haven't actually peppered the goal.

Their reserve players don’t actually look very good, that’s the sad thing.

Same as last year, we start with 2 up front (one being Vardy) and we win.

Poor, poor game.

1-0 at halftime? I'll take that. Man City for all their guile have not looked above prancing around with possession and doing little with it.

At 1 nil they don't have to do more then just prance around

Well reading this I'm rather delighted I didn't bother to watch it.

Nacho is surely not this bad. Our coaching must be very suspect. I feel that if we play him, he can’t be up top on his own. Needs a strike partner.

Choudhry ridiculously good in parts. Lovely to see.

Gray and Fuchs to be applauded for positivity.

It it really is a sorry watch though isn’t it?

Well hopefully we can play better in the 2nd half

...perhaps we may even learn to stop giving the ball away.

on a more positive note we have only let one goal in.

That De Bruyne goal was strange. Can't believe having your best players on the pitch makes it more likely you score.

That touch from Iheanacho on the whistle lol

For all the doom and gloom, I'm actually quite happy to see Soyuncu and Maguire playing together.

Thought Choudhury and Gray have been decent as well.

I'd add Fuchs to that aswell .

Continuously hoofing the ball upfield to no one, allowing them to regain possession and back at us again. But on a positive really expected to be at least 2 or 3 down at half time.

how on earth have Man City not scored more

FFS. They keep the ball. Good for them. How many shots on target have they had?
