Carl the Llama Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Genuinely not sure I've ever seen a more inept set of penalties from one team in a shoot-out. Â
Nicolo Barella Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Hamza should start next match with Mendy. Â That said, what an assist from Ndidi for the goal! Just about makes up for everything else...
Tuna Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Could have had Burton in the semis...absolute huge missed opportunity. Those penalties were utterly pathetic.
AlloverthefloorYesNdidi Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 That second half was good though
Dames Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Great second half performance let down by some of the worst penalties you’ll ever see.  Another situation we come away thinking ‘missed opportunity’ which is quickly becoming synonymous with Puels reign.Â
Kopic Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Can't believe puel would coach that penalty technique. Awful. Puel out right now. Disgusting.
Guest ttfn Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Really grating to lose on penalties to such a superior side two years running.  Given that it’s supposed to be a leveller/lottery, to get that far and lose both times is absolutely infuriating.
Collymore Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Did my eyes deceive me or did I see Soyuncu had a made a vest by cutting the arms off a really cheap blue t-shirtÂ
Guest Kopfkino Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Put it on for the penos... disgusting penalties, actually have to feel for Puel having watch them make a complete arse of a simple thing.
Corky Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 In the space of three weeks, we've gone from seven virtually unsaveable, confident penalties to three absolute howlers in four. Â That's the risk when you take it to penalties. For some reason, we didn't push on after the equaliser.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Soyuncu and Maddison need to have a word with themselves. Fuchs pen was shit but as for those two. Wtf were they.  Put your foot through the ball, forget this staggered run up shit.  Can't even blame Puel for the pens, but should have played a stronger team.  City Vs Burton now absolutely guaranteed
Langston Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Season is dead, please sack this clueless **** and bring someone capable of making me excited to watch my team in again.Â
The_Rorab Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 I only caught the 2nd half (which sounds like it was a good thing) but Hamza looked quality, Maddison and Albrighton were great when brought on and I thought Soyuncu and Maguire was pretty decent. I still can't believe the number of simple passes that Ndidi misses though, it beggars belief sometimes!
LestaAl Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 I guess we could do with a manager who is a bit more lucky
BirminghamFox Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 At least we rested players to push on for 14thÂ
Jattdogg Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Good game considering but pk's ruined it.. horrible display on pk's
Head Honcho Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Just posted this on FB and I've supported CP until now. That shoot out just about sums up the confidence within the team at present. Puel has made it very easy for the owners to sack him after that and the recent performances have been dire. Puel and the team lost their way well before the tragedy so it's got nothing to do with that.

The bloke sidefooted it over, somehow.
jayfox26 Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 I'm really starting to dislike this current Leicester team. The arrogance and lack of respect shown to their young keeper was embarassing and inexcusable. That was an absolute joke as was our 1st half performance. We played better 2nd half but let's not kid ourselves that city never got out of 2nd gear and dropped into 1st gear 2nd half. While I'm still not sure about Puel, I'm also very unsure about a large proportion of our playing squad!Â
Wycombe Fox Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Maybe I’m a bit old school but stuttering run-ups? Three defenders taking pens?

Foxxed Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Hamza was incredible. Missed loads of u23s. First game back. And was excellent against the finest attacking players in the league. I apologise for mocking you @FIF .  I was against dropping a young Ndidi because he's not great at passing when he's playing so he improves his passing but for an academy player I'd happily see him benched.
