I’m guessing on possibly a midfield three before long and I’d like to see Wilf, Hamza and Tielemans Ive said it before... Mendy offers very little imo. Agreed
Guest TaggertvsWise Posted 7 February 2019 Posted 7 February 2019 Just for fun, and because everyone loves a formation, next season I would use our midfield thusly in a 5-3-2 and just let N’didi do what he does best: Kasper Soyunco Maguire Evans Pereira Chilwell N’didi Maddison Tielemans Barnes Vardy
Guest MattP Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 That slip at the end was as N'Didi as it gets, pure comedy. I actually think Puel was brave dropping him.
Haywood_6 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Wilf is far better than Mendy and he showed it today.

Guest Kopfkino Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Loads better when he plays alongside someone else that can actually play football

matty98 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Great game, shows what a difference it makes not having Mendy next to him who constantly gives him the ball when he's under pressure. Played some great long balls.

smitha Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 That 35 minute dropping might have done him the world of good, looked good today but also I think Tielemans helped.
Fox92 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Better today. Please God I hope I never see the Ndidi / Mendy partnership again.
lgfualol Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Some of his turns with the ball were lovely. Played really well. Like the Ndidi of old.
Analysethis Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 He was outstanding today and was the same last time out. He had a blip of form but now he is back to his best which is great to see. He was a monster today. Keep it up Wilf!!!

Dames Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Looks a lot better with a better more confident player alongside him. Its like Tielemans confidence on the ball rubbed off on NDidi. A Tielemans NDidi partnership on this showing has massive massive potential and if Claude even thinks about dropping either for Mendy he deserves to be shot out of a catapult back to France.
ParkerPen Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 all about having a creative partner playing with him - well done today wilf
Beechey Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 6 tackles today, back to his best. Clearly thrives when his game is simpler.
Clever Fox Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 I thought Wilf and Chilwell were our best players today. Tielemans looks a very good player and playing with Wild will improve him no end. Dropping him was more to do with giving him a rest than anything g to do with form etc.
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 No surprise whatsoever that Wilf played well today. See my post above. He was playing alongside a quality CM and didn’t have to do all the playmaking. If Puel now goes and brings Mendy straight back in, he’s even more daft than he looks. Mendy is really really average

lanefox Posted 11 February 2019 Posted 11 February 2019 Wilf looked good yesterday , probably his best game of the season

Actually, google says that Ndidi is 80 kg, and gold is roughly worth 41000 USD per kilo. That makes his weight in gold 3280000 USD - I'd say he's worth significantly more than his weight in gold!
