Any good young strikers in U23s? Should be Ok for relegation (just) but I'm looking down the table now not up. Agreed, carry on like this and we’ll be looking over our shoulders
KFS Posted 3 February 2019 Posted 3 February 2019 I’m not bothered by that whole game until the part where Iheanacho headed the corner away. What a twat.
Ric Flair Posted 3 February 2019 Posted 3 February 2019 Our decision making is atrocious and that stems from the manager. People can argue he doesnt make them fcuk up but it's a common trait amongst teams who dont understand their managers game plan half the time. We played some ok football but the amount of under hit and over hit passes from the gruesome twosome in central midfield was so familiar and frustrating. Mendy should have had 3 yellows today, he was a petulant little poltis and I hope that's his last automatic start for us. Ndidi must be walking a tight rope as well, under most other regimes he would be anyway. Poor. Barnes was the bright spot of today, very good and Ghezzal did well when he came on.

Tuna Posted 3 February 2019 Author Posted 3 February 2019 "We've signed this lad Tillerman" - Radio Leicester is hilarious.
J.Lisemore Posted 3 February 2019 Posted 3 February 2019 Rubbish. Disagree with most comments that say we played well, we’re just so dull going forward, complete lack of ideas. Gave them far too much time on the ball

RowlattsFox Posted 3 February 2019 Posted 3 February 2019 No real problem with that, decent enough performance but again let down by poor quality and lack of options from the bench. Subs are coming of with zero confidence and it shows. There was enough there to not get too upset and angry. But no doubt some will. Palace is the big one and may define whether Puel has a future here.
North Leeds Fox Posted 3 February 2019 Posted 3 February 2019 Should have at least drew that match. Great to see us making loads of chances again. Just couldn't take them. Very much excited to see tielemans in that team. Him and hamza needed over mendy and gray vs spurs
coolhandfox Posted 3 February 2019 Posted 3 February 2019 Rinse and repeat... Lack of quality in the final third, to passive when the opposition have the ball.

richardsfoxes Posted 3 February 2019 Posted 3 February 2019 Same old story, concede early, play well, can't score.
ozleicester Posted 3 February 2019 Posted 3 February 2019 Well, everyone should be happy... we were entertaining right
Finn Claw II Posted 3 February 2019 Posted 3 February 2019 We are not that bad going forward it is just hard to score, We had enough chances today.
ForeverandEver Posted 3 February 2019 Posted 3 February 2019 Mendy is really struggling. Should’ve been sent off twice. Barnes was breathe of fresh air. Hamza to start at Wembley next week. Move on.

Huddersfield aside, I think we have the weakest squad going forward in the league. It's piss poor. Bit of an over reaction. We have scored more than 8 other teams. Not sure what’s made you come to this conclusion.
TMELcfc Posted 3 February 2019 Posted 3 February 2019 Sloppy start, have good possession, can’t break a team down or create any clear cut chances... same thing week in week out... Southampton with 10 men or Utd today, we have a real problem creating good goal scoring opportunities (forget that poor stat Sky kept showing of attempts, actual decent / clear cut chances). Mendy and N’Didi partnership will hopefully be broken up with new signing otherwise nothing will change. And if nothing changes from here until end of the season, Puel will be sacked.

st albans fox Posted 3 February 2019 Posted 3 February 2019 I called the ghezzal sub at half time so wasn’t surprised but I wanted to see ghezzal behind vardy - gray’s decision making isn’t good enough to play there so I’m pissed off with the manager for making a mess of what he should have done

The Doctor Posted 3 February 2019 Posted 3 February 2019 So, what was everyone's "I'm on the United pay-roll" moment from Mike Dean? Mine was probably when Martial flicked the ball into Ricardo's body from a yard, linesman saw it and gave nothing, Dean had no line of sight and just waited for even a half hearted appeal so he could give it. Reasonable performance, deserved a point but it's individual mistakes in the first ten minutes again giving us too much to do.

Add the abysmal end product from Maddison, Gray and Chilwell and theres very little left in the XI that would be a source of goals.
Jaspa Posted 3 February 2019 Posted 3 February 2019 Just now, EnderbyFox said: Whoever is responsible for us not signing a Striker in the window needs sacking ASAP. Bringing on Okazaki and Iheanacho when you need a goal is like eating sand when you're about to die from dehydration. Iheanacho did more defensive work for United than he did for us attacking. Fvcking useless Its down to money, we only got a player in when we'd got two out and it was a position we were then light in. We've still got Slimani on the books, on top of that as you mention Kelechi & Okazaki is just more on more cost we cant carry right now for whatever reason. I think it'l eventuallyl be dealt with in the summer. The game. Low quality for the Premier League, we gifted United the goal through sloppiness and proceeded to waste 4 or so point blank chances, Evans 2x & Vardy 2x off the top of me noggin. They came out with the plan of wasting time in the second half and trying to get players on yellows sent off if they could. Ref wasn't particularly great, Mendy should've been sent off and the time wasting carried on. Then our fans hurling abuse at the manager/Ghezzal taking Maddison off, an absolute embarrassment - you are not entitled to seeing us win every week because you pay good money, you are a supporter; support your team Leicester City through thick and thin.
